VILLA MONTONA - Spacious villa with a magnificent view of Motovun

Villa Montona is located on the edge of the small village of Bataji, surrounded by vineyards and rolling green hills, offering stunning views of the renowned medieval town of Motovun. Motovun is approximately a 5-minute drive from the villa. Villa Montona sits on a 3,000 sq m property with a Mediterranean garden, its own vineyard, a gravel driveway, and a carport for 2-3 cars. Adjacent to the house is a 12-meter heated saltwater infinity pool.

This luxurious natural stone house offers a generous 270 square metres of living space and features four bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. All rooms are furnished with Italian designer furniture. During the construction of this house, designed in a typical Istrian/Mediterranean style, great emphasis was placed on quality, utilising antique building materials such as terracotta tiles, terracotta floors, and old oak beams; the natural stone walls are hand-worked. Villa Montona is centrally located in the Istrian hinterland and is an ideal base for exploring all the sights of this beautiful peninsula.

A steady supply of the finest Istrian wine is guaranteed, as the award-winning Fakin winery is located in the immediate vicinity. Motovun also has a supermarket with all the necessities for daily life.

Arrival

Motovun is easily accessible by car via a modern, well-developed road and motorway network.
The nearest airports are in Pula (approx. 70 km away) and Rijeka (approx. 90 km away), as well as in Trieste in Italy (approx. 100 km away).

Please note that arrival and departure are generally always on Saturdays. A different arrival or departure day can be booked upon request, but this depends on the month and cannot be guaranteed. The minimum stay is 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday). Longer stays are possible upon request; however, due to lower occupancy rates for the remainder of the week, we reserve the right to charge a 25% surcharge for additional nights between 7 and 14 nights.

Due to the different bedroom sizes, the house is best suited for 4 adults (2 couples) + 2 adults (singles) or 2-4 children.
For bookings of more than 6 adults, a surcharge of 25% will be added to the rental price.
