About this property

Easy access to scenic North Shore and WI South Shore - Kids and Pets welcome!!

This is a 3 bedroom home in Superior that is right off of Hyw 2. You can get to Canal Park within 10 minutes, or continue on up the North Shore. In the other direction is Wisconsin’s beautiful South Shore with many parks to explore. Barkers Island is less than a mile away as well! The home contains many activities and toys for children, as well as a large fenced in yard with a playset. There is plenty for young children to do during your stay! Pets are more than welcome also, and will enjoy frolicking in the back yard.

There is patio furniture on the back porch where you can enjoy some morning coffee or evening beverages. The house usually keeps the back yard from being directly exposed to the breeze off of Lake Superior. If it’s a toasty day here in Superior you can cool off in the front yard, or turn on the newly installed mini-split!

It is located one half mile from Barkers Island which offers a playground, mini golf, a swimming beach, the farmers market on Saturdays, and many other opportunities for exploration.

In addition to the beds that are set up, there are several pack n plays and cots available for use if you have infants/toddlers. There are also some cushions in the living room that can be used for an additional twin bed. Any sheets needed for the additional beds will be provided.

This place was perfect for our family of 5 and our pup. Our three kids loved the house as it had everything they could need to play with! Very convenient and affordable for going back and forth to Duluth.

We couldn't be happier with the host, the property and the communication. It was a very comfortable place and the location was perfect for us! We had a dog and 2 little ones and the accommodation was perfect! Would definitely rent again.

Prefect place to stay with little kids as it is an active daycare Monday thru Thursday. Relaxing home. Would stay again. Host Casey was kind and provided some snack food and great pizza place recommendations.

This property is fine if you’re looking for something cheap and don’t plan to spend a lot of time there. It was advertised as kid-friendly with lots of toys and playground equipment. But it did not advertise the fact that it is actually a daycare business. The house and yard are very unkept. The house is overcrowded with oversized old furniture for kids and old toys. Not adult - friendly whatsoever. There is no lighting or adult seating in the living room and only one tiny tv in a bedroom. It did have a full kitchen and fenced yard for your dog. The instructions and check-in- checkout process were clear.

It looked as though some individuals of your group enjoyed the activities and toys, so we were delighted to see that! Our main goal is to provide a comfortable place for families to stay where adults can relax a little while the pets and kids play. I'm wondering if there may have been some confusion on which room is the living room? There is definitely adult sized furniture and lighting in the main living room. The TV in the bedroom is small as we don't emphasize a lot of TV watching in general. We have always enjoyed the other amenities of the home and outdoors since Lake Superior is such a beautiful area! We don't advertise the daycare aspect of the home for the privacy of the children that attend. Thank you again for your insight though; we appreciate the feedback!

This place is in a great location within walking distance to barkers island and all of the parks and trails in that area. And plenty of activities to keep kids busy. The fenced in backyard is a huge plus also. We will definitely be back when we need a base camp for exploring Superior and Duluth.

Hello! I'm Casey, your host, and I'm delighted that you are considering staying at this location. My family and I live in Superior, not far away from this rental house. My husband is from this area, and I am from much farther away (Alaska). We have two children and two very large, fluffy dogs that love to bark. We love all of the things that this area has to offer - no matter what time of year. One of our favorite events is the Superior Ice Festival, and we always enjoy spending time on Barker's Island. We hope that you enjoy your time in Superior as well!

Why they chose this property

The Central Park neighborhood has been a friendly and welcoming area for us. The park itself is not far away from the house, the playground there was just renovated in 2025. We like how close we are to the business area of Superior, as well as how close it is to the lake.

If you are looking for a relaxing stay for your family, this is an ideal spot. This house does not feel like a showroom - it is a place where your kids can run around, play, eat snacks, and be themselves while you drink coffee.
