About this property
One Of A Kind Presidential Cabin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This property is a one of a kind 5 bedroom, 3 bath, masterpiece. A previous guest called it the best kept secret in the White Mountains. Tucked away so you can't see your neighbors, unobstructed views of The Presidential Range from the decks, and directly on the snowmobile trail. 12 minutes to Cannon Mountain, 8 minutes to Bretton Woods, 10 minutes to down town Bethlehem. It's Centrally located to a lot of White Mountain attractions. The location is within a half hour of Santa's Village, Story Land, North Conway, Loon Mountain, Polar Caves, The Muddy Paw, The Fens restaurant, Whales Tale, The Flume, Indian Head Resort, and the iconic Mount Washington Hotel. Swimming holes galore within 20 minutes of Forrest Lake State Park and Echo Lake State Park. Enjoy this ancient form of Scandinavian craftsmanship with a pool table, dart board, corn hole on the covered deck, big screen TVs, outdoor fire pit, pass through fireplace, and plenty of sleeping. Early check in and late check out are permitted if possible. Events and small weddings have gone well and may be permitted on a case by case basis. Cancellation may be permitted if I can rebook. This has worked great in the past. I'm looking for a 7 day minimum in the summer and most of the time 3 days. Saturday to Saturday bookings usually fill the summer calendar so I would book early. 2 days are permitted at certain times on the calendar. Please don't hesitate to ask me questions about this property. It's been a super popular vaca rental for a decade. Thanks for reading my description and I hope you consider a stay at this special place....

3 years now.....always a great time ...plenty of room...location 1/4 mile off rt 3....never disappointed...only time we have all of us under one roof....thx Mike
Every year we have family get together with all attending,...Santa’s Village a yearly event.....12 of us....plenty of room.....views of mt Washington....will do it again next year......thanks, Mike
House was awesome and better than we expected. Photos are missing an extra bedroom in the basement (just a garage with a bed) but that was super helpful in our situation. Also there are toddler beds in the hallway in the basement. We saw those photos and couldn't tell the size, assuming they were for storage or dogs. They worked perfect for us. Overall, had a ton of space, well aligned for our trips to Santas Village, Conway, etc.

Hello Alexander, thanks for your thoughtful response. We hope to have you again at The Presidential Cabin.
This is a beautiful home with gorgeous mountain views (including mount Washington!) and everything you need - a home away from home. We especially loved the fireplace and balcony views. There's also an excellent pizza restaurant down the road for the nights you want to eat in and enjoy the cabin and views. We would love to come back for the winter season and try snowmobiling - there are several trails in this area. The home owner was always available via text or email.
I cannot say enough about this home. The online pictures do not do the property justice. From the moment we pulled into the driveway we were in awe. Plenty of space for the 10 of us to hang out and relax. The views off the back deck are breathtaking. We sat out there every morning drinking our coffee and taking it all in. We will definitely be back again for another stay.

Beautiful house, fast response from owner
Beautiful house. We had a bear raid the dumpster (to be expected in the woods) over night and he was quick to get someone out to clean it up. Everything inside was clean and taken care of. Couple minor things but nothing to not want to stay there. Ticks were bad so we didn’t get to spend a lot of time outside as the fire pit is right against the tree/shrub/grass line. But overall we had a fantastic week and hopefully will stay there again in the future.
Incredible log home with spectacular views of the white mountains. Large yard and deck for family and friends to be together, and within 30 minute drive to prime locations (Cannon/Echo Lake, Santa’s Village, Littleton, etc). Plenty of tvs in the house and fully equipped kitchen. Pool table was a bonus and fire pit in the yard was a great way to end a day up north.
There is not much insulation between floors so you hear every footstep of those on the second floor. This is to be expected for a log cabin so it wasn’t a huge deal. The owner was easy to communicate with. Only reason for 4-stars on check-in is that the code to the house was not provided until after I reached out. Again, not a major issue, but something to remember for next time.
Overall a 5-star experience and home. We will be back!
Beautiful spot....Mount Washington view in the backyard....easy access from Rt. 3.....plenty of room for family (12)....for us.....outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace....plenty of parking....and added plus there’s a small dumpster for trash.....good time had by all.
Just got back from spending a week at this lovely home with my husband, two grown daughters and their boyfriends. There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out.
We thoroughly enjoyed the main deck (one of at least three at the house) day and night, and even spent a rainy day out there, as it’s under cover.
The view of Mount Washington, other mountains, shooting stars, etc., is beautiful, and we watched a family of hares visit to munch on clover every day.
The pool table and dart board were put to good use, and the fire tables on each deck were a very nice touch. The owner, Mike, responded very quickly to our questions.
The surrounding area is beautiful, too. Hiking, the Kankamagus Hwy., waterfalls, North Conway shops and mini golf are all
less than an hour away.
10/10 would recommend!
Picture doesn’t do much justice to the property. We all loved this property. Seating area on deck is really great. Kids had a blast. I really recommend this. Mike is always responsive to any question.
I stayed here with my family for some Bretton Woods skiing. We had a great time. The place is totally outfitted with everything you need, clean and I loved the pool table and chess board in the basement. The built-into-the-wall bunk beds were very cool. If I go back to Bretton Woods I will stay there again.
We had a great time at the home. Everything was as advertised and the view was spectacular! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the ever changing views of Mt. Washington.

Family vacation
This was a beautiful log cabin, spacious, with 3 decks. Terrific views, we could see the weather station on Mt. Washington. The night time sky was one of the highlights for me, sitting out at the firepit. We were all able to sit outside for meals, & on the cooler nights, the indoor fireplace was great. We were able to explore the area, lots to do, especially if you like being outdoors. We all had such a relaxing week, playing pool, & just hanging out together,
The home is wonderful. It’s spotless, well appointed and the perfect size. The multiple entertainment spaces are perfect. The girls watched TV by the fireplace in the living room while the guys watched hockey downstairs while playing pool.
This property is amazing, the listing doesn’t do it justice. Property manager is accessible but not bothersome, home is well kept and grounds are easily accessed yet secluded. Plenty of room over 3 levels to spread out, but a large kitchen and dining area to accommodate your entire party. We Will definitely return
As many other reviewers have said, the photos don't do this property justice! Just the uniqueness of the log cabin itself, it's enormous size and fascinating construction is reason to stay. The deck and the view are priceless. There are more bedrooms than we even realized and there was so much space to enjoy a relaxing week away. Fire pit and game room rounded out a journey none of our firends will soon forget and our teens LOVED the built in bunk cubbies downstairs. If you're looking for a house you won't ever forget, this is the place for you!!
