Welcome to The Kismet House, next to the slopes and nestled among the trees in the heart of the White Mountains.

Located at the end of a quiet street within the Bretton Woods resort community, this three level townhome is the perfect place for a serene stay while also centrally located to take advantage of all the region has to offer. While the ski slopes may be just across the street, there is so much more to explore! Between the central AC in the summer and the cozy fireplace in the winter, you’ll find year-round comfort in the home.

Our goal is to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. To that end, we fully stock all the necessities and many extras beyond the typical ‘starter pack’ to minimize an unexpected run to the store so you can truly enjoy your down time. If you do need to get a bit of work in, we have a small desk and reliable WIFI to comfortably work from the home. We also know all too well that traveling with young children can be a challenge so we have a Guava travel crib, Dohm sound machines, OXO high chair, and plenty of toys and books to keep young travelers happy as well.

Mudroom | The perfect place to organize and store all of your outdoor gear and equipment! Also includes access to a locked outdoor ski closet.

Laundry room | Includes full-size washer and dryer along with detergent, drying rack, iron and ironing board.

Kitchen | Large kitchen fully and thoughtfully stocked with high-end items including drip and Keurig coffee makers (ground coffee/sugar/creamer/tea provided), Ninja blender, griddle, waffle iron, toaster, crock pot, electric and stovetop kettles, Wusthof knives, children’s dishes and cutlery, olive oil and full set of spices. You have everything needed to prepare and serve a meal for your group, including seating for 6 at the peninsula.

Dining/Main Living Room | A bright, spacious open floor plan with large dining table that seats 8, smart TV and comfy seating surrounding a wood-burning stone fireplace. The two story wall of windows provides views of Crawford Notch and Bretton Woods ski slopes, along with access to the upper deck.

Upper deck | Directly off the main living space, includes an outdoor dining table which seats 6 along with an up close view of the slopes. Check to see if the gondola is running before heading out!

Upper Level Primary Bedroom | A spacious bedroom with king size bed, small desk for remote work, smart TV, Dohm sound machine and en suite bathroom. Sleeps 2.

Upper Level Primary Bathroom | Double sinks, shower stall and jacuzzi tub to soak after a long day of hiking or skiing. Includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash and blow dryer.

Upper Level King Bedroom | A sunny bedroom with king bed, smart TV, Dohm sound machine and en suite bathroom. Sleeps 2.

Upper Level King Bathroom | Single sink and stall shower including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and blow dryer.

Lower Level Living Room | Includes a second living space with couches, puzzle/game table, smart TV, wet bar, and plenty of toys, games and puzzles for all ages to enjoy.

Lower Deck | Includes seating, gas grill (propane included), and access to a large, flat shared yard for the kids to run around or enjoy a game of cornhole.

Lower Level Bunk Room | Perfect set up for the kids’ quarters with two sets of twin bunk beds, books and Dohm sound machine. Closet includes a Guava travel crib, OXO high chair and umbrella stroller. Sleeps 4.

Lower Level King Bedroom | A spacious bedroom with king bed, smart TV and Dohm sound machine. Sleeps 2.

Lower Level Shared Bathroom | Tub/shower combination including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryer and bath toys.

Additional details | We also have conveniences such as sand toys, camp chairs, sleds, balls, cornhole, tennis rackets, pickleball paddles and more!

The neighborhood | Just steps outside the front door, there is access to the Little Mount Deception Trail with amazing views of Mount Washington. Be sure to bring a note or other momento to include in the trail log at the lookout! There is also the Mount Washington Loop trail which circles the neighborhood with access just beyond our backyard. If you enjoy spending time on the courts, we have a neighborhood tennis court with pickleball lines as well.

The area | The home is located across the street from top rated Bretton Woods, the largest ski resort in New Hampshire. It is also centrally located to enjoy many White Mountain attractions such as Crawford Notch, Storyland, North Conway, Mt. Washington Auto Road, Santa’s Village, Cog Railway, Franconia Notch State Park (Echo Lake, Aerial Tramway, The Basin, Flume Gorge), and more. With the grand Mount Washington Hotel two minutes down the road, you can enjoy activities such as cross country skiing, snow shoeing, horse drawn carriage and sleigh rides, snow tubing, canopy/tree adventure tours, mountain biking, spa, restaurants, an award winning 18 hole golf course and more! Also not to be missed is the amazing access to area hiking and camping all while using Bretton Woods as your home base. There is something for everyone no matter the season!
