This spacious villa rents as a 5 bedroom or six-bedroom( vrbo 638776), beachfront villa. It was designed to maximize the gorgeous views of the Caribbean Sea and is a perfect private retreat. Built in 2005 and just renovated in December 2014 to add a stunning 6th master bedroom on the 3rd floor with commanding views of the Caribbean , Sol Haa is the perfect luxury villa.

The spacious villa is tastefully decorated with attention to detail, including artwork and fine furnishings, emphasize its comfortable elegance. Enjoy a cool margarita while lounging by the private pool or while star gazing while lounging by the lit pool in the evening. Our full time staff will ensure the Villa and grounds are well kept ,allowing you to relax and enjoy your own private retreat.

Our Villa has been designed to the highest standards with granite countertops in the gourmet kitchen and throughout the 6.5 bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and 3 of the bedrooms have beautiful beach views. There are King beds in 3 of the bedrooms , 2 bedrooms have Queen beds and 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is also a single sofa bed in one of the large master bedrooms suitable for a small child . Villa Sol Haa's design also has 2 bedrooms on the ground floor allowing easy access for the handicapped or elderly. We are also very child friendly and set up with cribs, high chairs, and baby gates. Custom designed furniture is the finishing touch for this high end villa. If you have a larger group we have another 4 bedroom villa on the property as well.

The grounds are lush and tropical with palm coconut ,and banana trees being just a few of the many different plants on the property. Imagine sipping from a fresh coconut my staff have given you while lounging by the pool under a palm tree!!

Awesome Christmas getaway

Great family friendly place.

This home is great for a family to spread out and each claim a bedroom all with their own bathroom! Owner fast and efficient with answers, caretaker lives next door and a real nice guy. Fabulous location to go north into town or south to beaches and away from the crowd spots. I’d highly recommend to anyone who wants a big house and day trips

Great stay for family reunion

Property as advertised. Caretakers on property make for a perfect stay. Day excursions easily booked at beach club next door. We had no need for rental car. Taxis were easily available when needed. Would stay again!

Great property for large families away from the crowds

Martin was awesome! The pool was great and tortugas next door was really convenient. I’d recommend a rental car and we used HTL with no issues. Snorkeling was pretty good right off the beach especially if you chummed the water with a little bread.

Family During Break Trip

The house worked great for our large family including littles. We had meals 3 days through Sandra’s Kitchen, which seemed the perfect amount for us so we could experience the local restaurants. On a non-windy day, the snorkeling was pretty good. We ate at the two neighboring beach clubs and the food was good, but code a special treat, we went to the Buccanos Beach club on the other side of the cruise docks and had great food, very good snorkeling and beach and a great pool. Highly recommend going! Also, our meal at Guidos was amazing! The staff, especially Martine, was so friendly and helpful! A great stay!

Amazing villa for a large group

We were welcomed by the wonderful caretaker, Martin and escorted to this beautiful home where we spent a week relaxing, snorkeling off the private beach, hanging poolside and enjoying the beauty of Cozumel and its people. Lovely home. We used the cooking service by Sandra for three delicious meals that were well-priced and completely taken care of by two cooks - dirty dishes and all! A great all-round experience - we will be back!

Fun time

The property and villa were well cared for by the caretakers Martin and Mercedes who live on the property. Water was beautiful and having Tortugas next door was a big benefit, especially since we had grandchildren ages 6-11 with us. Communication prior to and upon arrival with the owner Nicholas was quick and efficient. Would consider staying here again, had a great time.

First trip to Cozumel

Beautiful beach right on the property with lovely pool with shallow area, great for the little ones. Great kitchen, dining area and patio. Playa Tortuga was right next door with good breakfasts and lunch food, full bar. They have beach toys and can help arrange tours, diving, etc. Very hospitable. Great in-house meal cooking by Sandra’s Kitchen 3 nights was wonderful. With our family, we wish we had them come every night, and then eaten some meals out at lunch. Good, but not great snorkeling right off the beach. It kept us well entertained, nonetheless. We would love to come back!

Wonderful memories

We loved the pool, beach access and the kitchen was well stocked. Brto from Tortugas bar came by amd helped with absolutely anything and Martin, the caretaker, could not have been more kind and accommodating either.The bugs/wildlife were expected, not excessive. The one down side was the old comforters in the beds. Really coule switch those to blankets that get laundered more often. Nicolas was so very kind and even accommodated our timeline which was not in line with how he usually books and we are so grateful for that. If you are looking for family photos, we used Mik and Drik and Sasha was outstanding and gave us memories for a lifetime 😍

Amazingly perfect beachfront villa

This villa was the most incredible place we’ve ever had the privilege of staying in. The house was absolutely stunning, inside and out. Our family of seven really enjoyed having their own rooms and bathrooms. The beach is literally a few feet from the pool. Which btw, the pool was AMAZING to have. It’s very humid there, so as soon as we would get back from our busy day, we would jump in immediately. The snorkeling is incredible right out front of the property. The beach is clean. With the trees and all of the plants around the property, you feel like you’re in a dream. I took at least 100 pics of that alone. We sat outside every morning with our coffee and enjoyed our view. Next door is Tortugas which is a beach club with amazing food and drinks. Try the dirty monkey, so good. Beto was our concierge from the beach club and would always come over offering us food and drinks and treated us like family. He was incredible! We even took family pics with him. The house was so clean, well decorated and felt like home to us all. The groundskeeper and housekeeper were so kind and so sweet. They would pop over when we were gone and clean up the house and it would smell so great when we got back. We also hired chefs to make several of our meals and it was some of the best food we had ever eaten. And probably cheaper for our size family vs going out to eat all the time. They were awesome to say the least. Thank you for the most incredible experience of our lives! We will be back! Cheers

Beautiful place great location

The Villa was beautiful with plenty of room for our group of 9. The location was perfect for us. Far enough from town to be quiet but close enough to shop easily. The only complaint I have about the property is the shower water. It was weak usually and non-existent sometimes especially the hot water. The water was choppy for snorkeling due to weather conditions but obviously the owner cannot control this. We have stayed in this area before and the water is usually perfect.

Villa Sol Haa is a fantastic property

Villa Sol Haa is a beautiful property situated conveniently close to the airport. The property is very well maintained with great amenities near by. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the views are spectacular. There is great snorkeling right off the property and there is a quaint restaurant next door which is great for a margarita or a quick bite to eat. The local house staff are friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this property.

The property was pristine and the view incredible. The water was crystal clear with excellent snorkeling and swimming. There is a Day beach place next door that was there if you needed anything to eat or drink. Very convenient! Very close to everything but yet far enough away to relax. I would strongly recommend this to anyone. Couple or families. Lotsa of room. Extremely clean and comfortable.

Third Time’s A Charm

Better Than A Hotel

We spent a week in June at Villa Sol Haa with the entire family, ages ranged from three to 73. You can get there by taxi or rent a car, which is what we did. We were welcomed by Jaun, the caretaker upon arrival. He showed us through the Villa and told us how to reach him along with general information. Within an hour Ksenia, the property manager, was at the Villa reviewing a few rules and giving us a lot of useful information including where to shop for groceries, where to exchange money, restaurant recommendations etc. We had the chef for one breakfast and one evening meal. He was very personable and the prices for breakfast are probably as reasonable, if not cheaper, as any you would find in town. His evening meal was also delicious and the price was in line with most nice restaurants. With our large group I would probably have him for breakfast every day. Tortugas Beach Club opened about six months ago and is located on the beach near the Villa. It is open from 8 to 5 six days a week. I thought it would bother us but it didn’t. It’s not a bad place to go for lunch and they will stay open for you if you’d like to have dinner. We also went there for breakfast but breakfast is not their forte. Ask for Monkey, he’s great and kept offering us discounts on goods and services since we were staying at the Villa. Things I wish I had known: • Along with the coffee maker there was a bag of fresh ground coffee. • You can ask Juan to have your laundry picked up and, if given early enough, delivered back the same day. • There are plenty of pool and beach toys ranging from buckets and shovels to pool floats and squirt guns. • There is a basket full of various types of sun block. • There is salt and pepper along with basic herbs and spices. Probably left by previous guests. The only problem we had was with the thatched roof bedroom. My grandson stayed in that room and the visible thatch had a heavy moldy smell. His allergies bothered him to the point that he ended up sleeping on the hide a bed in the master bedroom. Easy fix. We all appreciated being at the Villa, so much better than staying in a hotel. Juan is a jewel. He would find interesting shells for the kids and always talk to them and help them in any way he could. Juan will also call a taxi if you need it or call for pizza delivery. Bottom line, we would gladly go back again.

If you're looking at this rental, BOOK IT NOW

We spent a full week at Villa Sol Haa and it wasn't near enough time! We can't wait to book another trip to stay here again. The owner (Nicholas) was extremely helpful as we prepared for the trip, always prompt and helpful in responses. And upon arrival, Juan (the caretaker) was right there and ready to help in any way possible. Anything we needed, Juan was there to help, however, he wasn't bothersome at all with his presence. He did what he needed to do to care for the property for us to enjoy our time there and then would go the extra mile to help when we had questions. As for the house, it was AWESOME. To be able to walk out the back door and swim, lounge in the grass or beach, or walk out to some of the best snorkling ever (for free) was PERFECT. The bar next door to the property was a nice surprise. It closes at 5 so you don't have to worry about loud party goers and it was perfect for the days we didn't want to make our lunch to grab some of the best food we found on the island. While there were days it would be busy, it wasn't at all a hindrance to our enjoyment of the property as they stayed in the bar or were out snorkeling thus the beach area was ours to enjoy as we wanted. The location is also ideal as it's not far to take a car trip up or down the strip for dinners. As for the inside of the house, it was great. Very nicely done and comfortable. The 3rd floor room is beautifully done and is one of two large rooms with great ocean view. Another room that was even larger without a view worked well for the other family who had a little one that slept in the room for them. We had 9 total (4 adults and 5 children who ranged from 8-13) and we had two empty bedrooms so there is PLENTY of room. The TV in the main room was amazing quality and was nice for the kids to watch Netflix / movies with the quality they see at home in the evenings. Again, like the title says, if you are looking at this property and considering renting it, JUST BOOK IT, you will not be disappointed. I know we weren't and are figuring who else we can take next time to rent the adjoining property as well for an even larger group since it's all managed by Juan. Thanks Nicholas for sharing your amazing property with us. Our families greatly enjoyed our time in Cozumel and your house was one of the primary reasons for the enjoyment!

Dream Vacation

We spent a pampered week at Villa Sol Haa! There were 11 of us ranging from 18 months to 58 years old. Nicholas (the owner) was very helpful and prompt in his replies to our questions as we prepared for our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and cared for by Juan. He was never in the way, but always seemed to be right there when we needed him. The home is Spectacular! Six perfect bedrooms and plenty of gathering space for a large group. The pool/yard/beach were perfect! Especially awesome for our grandson. Our only surprise was the new Tortugas Beach Club at the end of the property on the beach. We were nervous at first, but they cater to the cruise ships, so their guests are only there mid-day. We went over there several times and took advantage of the fish spa and enjoyed a pineapple drink on the deck. Also, they were happy to sell and deliver us ice for the week! We had Chef Fernando prepare us three gourmet dinners. Not only was the food delicious, but he is an awesome guy! Taxis are readily available if you just walk to the road. We used them several times into town for nights out and grocery shopping. Mega is the local store - similar to a WalMart. They have everything from household needs to food (including great fresh meats/fish) and alcohol. Money Bar is a restaurant within walking distance (15-20 minutes) and Chankanaab is about a 10 minute walk. We have been to all-inclusive resorts in Cozumel many times, but this "private resort" was by far our best vacation yet! CHEERS!

Family day long weekend at Villa Sol Haa!

We visited Villa Sol Haa on the Ontario Family Day long weekend. We had a group of 10 adults. The villa served us perfectly - the private beach, with unlimited snorkeling, and the nice private pool to relax by was exactly what we needed. The rooms were very nice and well kept by the staff. And Juan was amazing, assisting us with any questions about the villa or the area. There were two bars/restaurants within walking distance when you feel lazy although we did also hire a private chef, which I would highly recommend. Nicholas was also very helpful leading up to the trip answering any questions or concerns we might have had. I would definitely recommend Nicholas and Viila Sol Haa for a group trip.

Villa Sol Haas - a great vacation!

5 of us girlies just spent a wonderful week at this beautiful villa. Cozumel was great! The villa and grounds are beautiful and wonderfully maintained with an onsite caretaker. The pool and ocean are fabulous and yards away. There is an excellent restaurant at the end of the property. We had Chef Fernando who prepared a 4 course meal for us one evening. It was a great meal and experience. We definitely hope to return!

Villa Sol Haa is in PERFECT LOCATION! Beautiful view!

We had 9 people at Villa Sol Haa. We went for Ironman Cozumel 2015. The location was perfect, close to Chankanaab Park, close to town and close to good restaurants. Our 10 year old and 20 year old snorkeled everyday right in front of the house and saw many fish. The house has a beautiful view, right on the water. The house had plenty of room for all 9 of of us, we all had our own space and even had room for more. The staff at the house was excellent, Lucio and Nancy were very helpful and kept the house neat and tidy. They cleaned the house everyday, was nice to walk into a clean house. Fernando the chef was fabulous, his food was very well prepared and presented. We enjoyed the pool as well, they have a pool cleaner that comes and keeps it very clean. We were very pleased with the property, so glad we stayed here and would stay here again!!

Villa Sol Haa is Paradise in Cozumel !

We were a 2 family group combined with 9 people with ages ranging from 38 to 8 years old and this place was perfect for all ages. From the grownups to the teenagers and even the younger kids there was always something for us to do on the property. The water is perfect for snorkeling so no need in booking a snorkeling excursion, or if you just want to relax and wade in the ocean with a drink in hand you can't go wrong. The sandy beach front was amazing and relaxing to get some sun. The smaller kids enjoyed playing with the hermit crabs on the beach. The private pool was a excellent added bonus to have. The house is in perfect shape, very clean and modern with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy without being cramped. Anything you need or want is with in a 10 to 15 drive from the home or just call the property manager and they will help you with anything you need. The island is very easy to navigate if you rent a car and we always felt comfortable no matter where we were going. The grounds keeper and house keeper were very friendly and did a fantastic job on a daily basis of making sure we had a clean home and beautiful outdoor area to enjoy our stay. Even when you lock yourself out late at night they are there with a smile on there face to assist. When we were trying to decide on what home to rent in Cozumel, we called the home owner and he was very accommodating and friendly and answered all our questions we had, it was his helpfulness that made us decide on this property and we were all glad we did. We had one of the best vacations ever staying here. You want regret booking this home the only thing you will not like is having to leave. We will definitely book this home again the next time we visit Cozumel. I would recommend this home to all my family and friends.

Why they chose this property

As Canadians traveling to Cozumel we found a very rare beachfront lot while visiting Cozumel and purchased the lot . Cozumel is a great family oriented island and our kids love our beach and lush tropical property.We built Villa Sol Haa shortly after purchasing the property and have enjoyed staying at our villa every opportunity we can.

What makes this property unique

The snorkeling off our beach is some of the best on the island. With the calm clear waters kids of all ages can enjoy the aquatic life in as little as 2' of water . My villa is on a rare beachfront lot and we have full time caretakers that clean the villa 6 days per week. Sitting under a palm tree having a cool tropical drink while lounging by the pool overlooking the almost unbelievable Azure blue waters of the caribbean, is something that is very special to us.
