Holiday vacation to the beach

This house is as described. Kitchen was stocked mostly. Checkin and checkout was easy. Our landing pass wasn’t in the unit when we got there but it was brought early the next morning after I notified them. Right on the beach, great location. We didn’t use the pool at all bug it was closed the last day we were there. Complex seemed a little dated and smaller but honestly it helped with getting a spot on the beach.

It was a great location. Very quick to get to things but still far away from to enjoy the quiet. The view from the master bedroom is amazing. We will definitely be booking this room again in the future.

Exceeded my expectations

When we first pulled up I was a little worried because the downstairs felt a tad dingy, but we got to our room and it was completely updated and very clean! Location is perfect for easy access to stores and restaurants. Walking distance to quite a few things even. Very easy walk down to the beach. We would definitely stay there again!!

Overall great trip. Awesome location, right on the beach and there is a pool in the front which was nice as well. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach- perfect to go back to the unit for lunch . Condo was nicely furnished- had decent/basic kitchen supplies. We brought Tupperware ( none in unit) Website description accurate to unit Overall wonderful! Would book again!

Location was nice being right on the beach. The living room furniture could use some updating(worn and a little dirty). The pool area we didn't use much because it was small and crowded. Overall we came down for the beach and that's where we were most of the time not in the room.

The condo is in a great location directly on the beach. Island Sunrise is a smaller condominium so it isn’t as busy as surrounding ones. Clean condo. The only downfall for us was that the living room, kitchen area, and balcony were way too crowded - not only too much furniture but none of the pieces were comfortable. But luckily the bedrooms were spacious. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Gulf Trip August

This was our 2nd time renting this unit. The building is nice being a bit smaller than other buildings in the area. This is nice becUse the beach area and pool are not crowded at all. A short walk to the beach and the pool in the front is perfect for vacation. We love the location so much and find it very convenient and private. The unit itself is adequate; kitchen is nice but reminder to bring your own Tupperware (none in unit) . Overall wonderful stay for our family of 4!

Great location, just a few tweaks needed

The beachfront location is fantastic and the condo was very clean. However, for what we paid, I expected at least one trash bag and a couple of basic items like coffee filters and salt/pepper to be left for our use. A work crew showed up on several mornings at 9 am to run a generator just outside our door while they yelled to each other on the roof. A security guy accosted us once because we didn't hang our parking pass back up until we parked, which was belittling. Despite these bumps in the road, an overall good trip.

Change Furniture!

The living room furniture and patio furniture are very crowded and very uncomfortable. The washer/dryer unit is very loud and needs to be replaced. Master bedroom bed mattress is bad. The unit itself is pretty but these issues will keep us from renting it again.

Room size/silverware/pool

This unit is on the end, very quiet, private and was more roomy than the other family’s rooms on our trip. The kids room had tons of floor space available and could’ve easily been arranged with more beds. Some minor disappointments were the toilet paper (transparent) and the silverware...it was clearly a dollar store purchase and almost childlike. For the amount of money you’re paying, I expected real silverware. The grills are charcoal. Don’t forget to put your parking permit on your car. Pool is not heated and gets very little sun, kids didn’t even use it.

Short family beach trip

The property was clean, beautifully decorated with plenty of room for my family to stay during our short trip to Gulf Shores. The only problem we encountered was the 2nd bathroom located inside the bedroom with 2 queen beds needed an updated shower nozzle. It looks like someone tried to replace it because it's coming out from the wall. It had poor water pressure and barely dripped water. Most of my family took turns using the master bedroom shower which was updated and very nice. Water pressure was slow but better than the 2nd bedroom shower. And it the corner to the lid of toilet has been taped with blue tape. Not a problem but probably needs a new toilet lid?? We will definitely stay again in the future when we travel to Gulf Shores. The process for check in and check out was contactless and easy.

You won’t be disappointed.

The kitchen was full of appliances. It has an air fryer, keurig, toaster, coffee maker, and blender. It was nice having the washer and dryer(clean out the dryer vent it gets full quick). There were a few beach toys but bring chairs or rent them from the company on the beach in the morning like we did. Highly recommend it. Then you don’t have to lunge beach chairs and umbrellas. The beach was not very busy since we were not near a public access even with it being Memorial weekend. Across the street is a small grocery. Dollars store and restaurants were only about half a mile away. We really didn’t it even have to drive anywhere once we got got here. We walked everywhere except for special places. I will look forward to renting this condos again or from this company again. We had no problems with our condo. Check out was easy no long list of chores like other places.

Good location, view, and access to the beach.

It is a nice place, but with good and bad to it. I don't know if they are trying to update a little at a time, because the kitchen is nice, but could use some updating in what is provided to use in it. We had to go buy a skillet and bread pan to cook in because we were afraid to use the pans in the condo. The master bathroom is very nice and everyone took turns to use the big walk in shower. The other bedrooms bathroom was not so much! The sink was for looks and not practicality. It was a big bowl with the faucet on the side and every time you would use it water would go everywhere and there was no where to put your stuff to get ready. Toilet was busted on top and they put blue tape on it to cover the hole. The bathtub was very outdated and looked nasty. Could use some new carpet or flooring in the bedrooms. It was nice having 2 queen beds in the extra bedroom....wish more places were like that so that everyone can have a decent place to sleep. It was odd with the beds though, because they were comfortable but squeaked when you got in and out of it!? Not enough seating in the living room....might suggest a couch or small sectional. Other than that it was nice and could have been a whole lot worse. It had a beautiful view from the balcony, living room/kitchen, master bedroom and extra bedroom.

Overall Good

We had an overall good experience. The condo is within walking distance to a few restaurants and a market across the street and right on the beach. As far as the building, it would have been nice to have a bathroom somewhere on the bottom floor. We had to go allllll the way to our condo when our 5 yr old had to use the bathroom so that was slightly inconvenient. Would have also liked to have the pool beach side rather than by the road. My husband prefers the pool but with it being so much further away, he didn't go. Our condo had a beautiful kitchen and master bath. Both have been recently updated. The view was beautiful and had great patio furniture. However there was very very little water pressure when showering, making them longer and 4 people had to shower. There was way too much furniture in the common area/living room. I maybe suggest 2 more barstools on the bar in the kitchen and then a smaller table for 2 or 3.. the couch absolutely needs replaced ASAP. It's dirty. No there's not much time spent IN the condo but around a couple meals. The comforter in the master bedroom needs replaced as it has multiple stains as well. The mattress either needs turned or replaced since it's sunken in the middle. The kitchen only had 4 forks and no tupperware. The room sleeps more than 4 people so I thought that was odd. We also made breakfasts and lunches and weren't able to keep leftovers since there was no tupperware. Quite a waste of food. As previously mention, overall it was a great stay since we went for a great beach trip and that's exactly what we got. Just a few things for the condo owners to consider moving forward.
