Hi, my name is Michael Moranz and I have a proven rental record. I have been renting on VRBO since 2003. I take pride in providing an excellent vacation at a great value. Unit was updated February 2023.

Unit 35. This is a Great, two-story townhouse condominiums on the beach! No one above you or below you. The only 'TRUE LOW-DENSITY COMPLEX' on the Gulf! Only 40 units and 250 feet of beach front! No high rise next to you on either side. No obstructed views. Great Family Complex! No elevators to wait on! No long flights of stairs! Ocean view from EVERY room! Two balconies with metal barstool chairs. Private garage (two cars) under unit. No long walk from parking lot. The private garage is wonderful for use as a barbecue and grilling patio. Grill steaks from a newer Weber grill while watching the waves break just feet away.

Every side is gulf side. Located at 723 West Beach Blvd. (182) 1/2 mile from US 59 (the 'T'). o, two story, no one above or below you... this spells PRIVACY! Something you do not have in a high rise! Two large bedrooms and two large bathrooms on the second floor with a private deck off the master. Kitchen, dining room, 1/2 bath and a deck off the living room on the first floor. Has washer and drier in the unit. Walk out of your door into your private garage, then onto the beach 20 feet away. 1200 square feet of living space!

These townhouses feel like a private home on the beach with a pool. THIS PLACE IS LIKE HAVING YOUR OWN HOUSE ON THE BEACH... WITH THE POOL!!! Watch the kids play from your balcony. Enjoy drinks and dinner on your private balcony. Enjoy the use of wireless internet, even on the balconies. Hotel quality linens and towels, all new! Brand New Air conditioner. Ice cold! No cheap plastic deck chairs.

Relaxing

This was the perfect property for us! Quick access to the beach & no elevators to contend with. Our unit was clean and just the perfect size. Property has a really nice pool too. Our host was easy to communicate with & very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Gulf Shores Vacation

The location was perfect. You could see the ocean from every room in the house. We loved having privacy and our own parking garage. The pool was great too and the kids enjoyed being able to throw a football around in the grassy area. The house is a little dated, but that didn’t bother us. Michael was very efficient. There was an issue with the keys getting lost in the mail and he responded immediately and sent new ones. It was nice not having to deal with checking in and out because the keys came right to our house.

Can’t wait to go back

We typically stay in a high rise condo but wanted to try something different. We have found our new place!! You are so close to the beach it’s not a job to haul all your stuff out. Also if kids get hot or hungry it’s so easy to run to the pool or room. Excellent communication with the owner and fantastic small community where you’ll make friends!

Great family location

Loved the area. Close enough in walking distance to many restaurants and grocery. But not too close to the more populate area. Very close walk to the beach or the pool. Great views. Loved having multiple bathrooms and bedrooms. Weather was amazing. Beach or pool was never over crowded. Huge toy box of sand toys to choose from. Nice you never had to fight over a parking spot. The cleanliness upon walking in were only concerns. Wrappers left from previous guests.

My Happy Place

We loved our condo at Gulfside Townhomes. It was very clean and well decorated. Michael is very easy to communicate with and answers texts promptly. We loved our time there.

Family Vacation

Location was perfect. Easy access to the beach just a few steps away. Unit is outdated and kitchen is not fully stocked of normal kitchen essentials as in pots, pans no oven mitt. Upstairs has shag carpet One of the balcony chairs was broken and mirror on the closets door was broke. Also bath tub/showers are very hard to get into. Tight space with glass doors on them so you are climbing around. The townhouse community itself is nice. Will likely look for a more updated unit in same location next time.

Gulf Shores Townhome

The location is right on the beach which was nice. The pool is larger than most other condo resorts. The one thing we didn't have is a pantry in the kitchen. There was no storage for food items we brought with us. The beach is more crowded since there is public access next to the townhomes. Traffic was an issue each time we went out to eat. It would be nice if Gulf Shores had a free transit so people could go up and down the beaches and not have to get in the car every time they wanted to go somewhere.

Great Family Friendly Location

We had a great time in Gulf Shores. The property has many Pros: excellent location. You are literally just a few steps to the beach. There is a small wooden walkway with a water hose to rinse off the sand. I think it may have taken us 1-2 minutes to reach the Ocean from our condo. The pool is also just a few feet away with convenient showers to rinse off and several tables with umbrellas. The pool was very clean. There are multiple lounge chairs as well. The entire complex was very family friendly. Our children were running around from the beach to the pool (with supervision) and everyone was very nice. The unit itself is as described with a very handy washer and dryer. The refrigerator and dishwasher appear to be band new. Cons: Our unit’s floors were not cleaned properly before our arrival. And there were a few other areas that needed a deep cleaning. Michael responded immediately and attempted to send a cleaner out- but we were at the beach. Michael did respond promptly with any questions or concerns. Overall, we had a great experience and would book again.

We loved this property. It was close to the beach which is what we want. It wasn't the newest, but that doesn't matter to us. We want clean and on the beach. This property delivered both of those. Check in/out was simple. No issues.

Cleaning

We have stayed in a different townhome at Gulfside Townhomes in the past. This specific unit was so dirty when we arrived. Sand was all in the coffee table. An old candy wrapper with chocolate was left in a basket of books beside the sofa. I found a large tack in the carpet at the bottom of the master bedroom. It was a very sharp, long tack that would have hurt tremendously had someone stepped on it. There was also a lot of sand in the master bathtub. Other than the unit not being cleaned well when we arrived, everything else was great!

Excellent beach location

If beach is your thing...this is it. Right on the beach and easy access. This condo is a single unit with parking right under for your vehicle. Note* you must climb stairs to access the unit and inside you must access bedrooms via stairs also. There were beach chairs available although we had brought our own. It was clean and stocked with a "starter" supply of what you need and there are plenty of places within walking distance or a short drive to get you what you need. Beds were clean and comfortable. I was a little dismayed about being carpeted in the main living area and bedrooms being a beach unit, but it didn't really bother us. It was plenty of room as it was just a couple but it's big enough to accomodate three couples if one of them wants to sleep on the couch. We used both balconies extensively. The complex is quiet. The pool is clean and spacious as well. The unit needs some updating but all-in-all it was a very pleasant stay.

I have lived in St. Louis Missouri all of my life. My Mom is from Mobile. We have been vacationing in Gulf Shores since I was a child. We rented homes before condos were even built. We have stayed in many high rises but never liked the crowds. We fell in love with the Townhouses. It is fun renting the townhouses. I enjoy meeting new renters. I take pride in providing a great vacation for all my renters. Here is a photo of me walking on the beach with my family. Of course, I am on the phone with a customer. My wife and I have been married since 1994, have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
