We could not get the fireplace to light up. I was like an exterminator all weekend my girls were not happy with all the webs and spiders in the house. One last thing the bed was like sleeping on a board. The views are awesome though.

Our cleaning team services the entire home after each stay; however, with the property located by the lake and surrounded by woods, cobwebs can reappear quickly, sometimes within a day. We’ll inform the owners that guests have mentioned the sofa bed and beds could be more comfortable, so they can review potential updates. Regarding the backyard, the property naturally slopes down to the lake, as it sits higher than the water level. We appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving the guest experience.

Wonderful Escape

Absolutely loved this property…very comfortable, the deck with lake view was where we spent the whole week. So nice. Kitchen well appointed, dishes, glassware, cups.. plenty of cookware options. Would definitely be back! Nite, the slope to the Jake is a bit tricky, but doable.

Views, location and access to area's amenities is excellent. Deferred maintenance? Poor wifi and non working items were annoying but we still enjoyed our stay.

Lake escape

From the time we arrived we were completely relaxed. The home was better than the pictures…we never wanted to leave the deck! Kitchen was well set up, nice glassware, dishes… appliances are typical lake cabin… all fully functional. The slope to the lake is a bit tricky but doable. Our dog had no issues. Nice shower products. Several fans if warmer weather. Well furnished.. comfortable. Already looking to book again.

The home had a extreme smell of animal urine and visible stains on carpet. I notified host with photos. The back stairs and railing on patio are in dangerous condition. That should be addressed. I would like to bring my parents and kids back bc the location and lake is amazing but the place is not “vacation friendly” as it is today. No broom, no mop, accessible, very dark - lighting is minimal.
