Delightful

Great comfortable home, very clean! Great neighborhood, easy to get around Palm Springs area from this location. The check in process was a little complex due to phone calls and validations virtually due to COVID, however the property manager was very responsive via phone or text when needed. All things were in great working order, the pool and patio was a great plus. I will definitely look to stay at this home again my next time in PS.

Sunny Delight is lovely

Web pictures don't do the home justice; its even better in person. Yard and pool is great with lots of sun and where necessary shade. A few minor issues experienced but nothing major.

Better than advertised

In every respect this property (and the management) is better than described. Every possible need for a relaxing, hang around the pool, bbq, watch movies, cook gourmet meals. You name it, it's there. Location could be better, but wherever you are in PS you're going to need a car, so location is not important (10 minutes to downtown).

Great Vacation Spot for Families

It doesn’t really get any better than this property if you have young children that wanna be swimming in a reasonably temperature pool. The house was a one level that all opened up to the outside. The pool was deep and spacious. The yard lit up beautiful at night. There were a couple of small quirks like a sliding door that didn’t work well and the coffee maker didn’t work, so we bought a new one and left it at the house. Neighborhood is decent. House is clean. Beds are comfortable. All in all, I would absolutely stay here again.

Windy City

It's a wonderful House and pool area but it was in the wrong place. Besides the wind we had parties and loud music, barking dogs. We had to call the code enforcement for the loud music. It would be a great place for a family with young kids but for us wanting a quiet time to relax it didn't work out.

Love This House

The rooms were large and comfortable. The outdoor space and pool/spa was relaxing! The only thing I would say that is minor were the rugs in the master bedroom and office. They are a little older and warping at the edges so we were tripping on them often. It could hurt someone so I would suggest removing them to be safe. Again very minor! The house was still one of the best I have stayed in.

HOT

For the most part this was a nice place. Cons: you are in the middle if the desert but the air doesn't go below 78 degrees. Thank goodness for the pool because I was dripping sweat the whole time. Stains all over master bedroom carpet. Missing obvious kitchen utensils like spatula. Pros: Very nice pool, and yard. Beautiful house and very quiet neighborhood. Close to freeway and MN any places to eat. Try Don and sweet Sue's Cafe, It is a must and did not disappoint! Overall I would rent again but probably only in early spring or fall.

Don't come here if you want privacy

Neighbor to the right has a treehouse built so on our 1st night we kept hearing things (tree shaking, giggling, talking)...at 1st we thought it was a stranger until the kids lit up their treehouse with florescent green lighting. Have no problem with kids having fun it's just we came to get away from ours and didn't feel comfortable not knowing if the kids were watching us or not. If I would've known would not have rented this place out especially for what I paid for. If you don't mind that kind of the thing the house was clean and seemed like a big enough place for a big family.

4/10 Poor

This rental is for you if you like:

• suburban neighbourhood where you need to drive everywhere • poorly maintained house and yard with lots of wind and sand. We rarely used the yard because the furniture (pillow/cushions) we so filthy with dust. • that walkway and landscaping stones that are watered twice a day, in a desert, and deep enough you need to step around it every morning. Many landscaping lights were broken over in the front; plants were sparse; there was an underground water leak in the irrigation system. • a living room TV that spends half its time buffering (although the bedroom doesn’t). But it wasn’t a huge deal because all the mainstream network channels are only available with log-in credentials. We did catch the Superbowl but somewhat the floating pink jelly fish over the plays destroyed any enjoyment; that was Nickelodeon. No Oscars for us. And don’t think you might connect you laptop to the TV to stream – not allowed. The listing indicated there was “cable”, so we didn’t expect fancy channels or a PVR. We did expect mainstream networks. • A house binder with inaccurate instructions and information about services in a different municipality • Sticky front gate – we had to climb over once as we couldn’t get out • Some of the furniture is not very stable – bed frame in ensuite, standing mirror You will now find (thanks to us pressuring VACASA): a toaster that works, hand towels for all four guests, a spa that works, ice cube trays to make ice (the water/ice feature of the frig doesn’t work), dinner plates that fit in the microwave. Burnt out bulbs replaced. The serious leak (that started after a repair person was looking at the water system to the frig) under the kitchen sink was fixed by a plumber. We’ve left in place our temporary fix for the leak in the office – towels and a styrofoam cooler to catch the drips during rainstorms (the most we measured was 4 inches). The promo pictures are accurate, but when you look a bit deeper the property is poorly maintained. Nor is it particularly well -appointed for long-term guests. The lemon and grapefruit from the backyard were delicious and the fragrance off the trees lovely. We have been coming to the Palm Springs area for 2 decades. This was our worst house. Vacation Palm Springs Rentals was great years ago when they were truly a local company; we don't plan to rent through VACASA again. Note: we rented for 2 months mid-Jan to mid-Feb.

Katherine, thank you for being our guest and taking the time to share your feedback. We apologize for the issues you encountered that kept you from fully enjoying your stay. We regret that the wind and sand in the area were not to your liking and are sorry for any landscaping features that could use some TLC. Additionally, we're sorry that the TV was buffering and appreciate you reporting this so our team could assist. We're sorry that the binder was not up-to-date and regret any frustration this caused. We encourage guests to utilize our Trip Manager portal, as it contains instructions and other information for your stay and contact information for our team. We appreciate your feedback as we view it as an opportunity to improve and we hope to have the chance to better impress you on your next getaway.
