Our small but charming holiday home, decorated in a maritime style, is located 10 km east of the spa town of Waren/Müritz and 90 km from the Baltic Sea, in a cosy village of 300 residents on Lake Rittermannshägener.
The holiday home stands on our fully fenced property, which is just under 1,000 m², and was extensively renovated in 2024.
The guest car park is located next to the driveway, about 30 m from the FeHa.
The “proximity” to the hosts may not seem very appealing at first, but over the years there have been no difficulties or negative interactions whatsoever. We are a family of three who work or attend school during the day and are generally not around much otherwise. This means that guests almost always have the yard to themselves during the day.

The holiday cottage is approximately 40 m² and is built in a so-called “studio style,” meaning it features a combined living and sleeping area. There is therefore no separate bedroom.
The bathroom is accessible and features a large walk-in shower, as well as a toilet and sink.
The kitchen is functionally equipped with a seating area for up to 4 people, a kitchenette featuring a refrigerator, sink, microwave, electric kettle, classic filter coffee maker, toaster, radio with CD player, a 2-burner induction cooktop, and a mini-oven for bread rolls or baguettes.
The kitchen also has everything else you need for a relaxing holiday. There is a comprehensive basic supply of spices, tea, a small emergency supply of coffee with coffee filters, plenty of dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils, etc. ...

The combined living room and bedroom features a large built-in closet, a very comfortable 1.40 m box-spring bed, and >if an extra bed is desired<
a single bed (under which there is another single bed)
A TV, Blu-ray DVD player, a collection of board games and books for all ages, and toys for the little ones.

On the covered, partially screened-in terrace of the holiday home, you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast in the morning sun or read a book in peace. The peaceful countryside and the sound of birdsong invite you to linger. There is a small table and plenty of seating.

Adjacent to the terrace is the 1.65m deep (water depth!) pool, perfect for swimming laps or circles—or simply cooling off.
The pool is used primarily by holidaymakers, but we also use it from time to time.

The property has everything a child—and an adult—could wish for. Among other things, there’s a playground with a swing, slide, play kitchen, wobbly bridge, climbing pole, climbing wall, sandpit, pedal cars, and KetCars in various sizes, a portable football goal, and even a hammock

“Little adventurers” also have the option to set up a tent in the garden, very close to the holiday home, and spend the night there.

A campfire pit is also available.
If needed, the portable grill can also be used.

Even the very youngest guests are welcome here. A portable travel cot for babies or toddlers, a high chair, and other equipment can be provided free of charge upon request.
A washing machine and dryer are located in the main house and can also be used as needed, upon request.

The holiday home offers a wide range of informational materials about the region, up-to-date tips for excursions and events, as well as “bad weather alternatives.” Here, you can plan your day at your leisure.

The region is perfect for cycling, and water sports enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy. Whether you want to take in the beautiful natural scenery on one of the many guided boat tours, charter a boat yourself for a day trip (we’re happy to help arrange this), go fishing, or explore the seemingly endless water sports area by stand-up paddleboard, kayak, etc.—nothing is impossible.

Depending on availability, you can rent up to 3 SUPs for €10 each per day right on-site if needed.
