Soundside Bungalow is a newly constructed 1,300 square foot vacation home located on Cedar Island Beach. Over looking Pamlico Sound and next to the Cedar Island Ferry; Soundside Bungalow provides you with a quaint and secluded vacation spot away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life.
Amenities include:
Full service kitchen with stainless steel appliances; gas range, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, plates, silverware, lots of pots and pans.
Laundry with full size washer and dryer and ironing board with iron.
320 square foot of front screened porch with picnic table, extra chairs, and porch swing

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable little cottage! We hope to visit again. The views are incredible, and the area is quiet and peaceful. Hosts were great.

Clean nice house. Had everything you might need. Was hard to find place when arrived in dark. Not much lighting. Cars could get stuck in sand road to place. Had a visitor come to door that did get stuck. Back yard leads to sandy area that had a water view which was basically like a sand bar. Too shallow to fish and had no seashells. Did not have waves of ocean to bring them in. Was a quiet area and could walk to ferry. Has stairs to get into place. Very nice layout and back screened in porch. Take groceries with you and plan to cook. Nowhere good to eat that was close.

Perfect stay every time

This was our 4th visit to cedar island, and our 3rd time staying at this property. The space is always clean and beds are comfy. Easiest walk onto the beach and there are never too many people around you.

This property is such a gem! We have made so many special memories here over the years. The beach is perfect for young kids and the house is always clean and well stocked. The screened in porch is the star of the show.

Had a great time this is our second time staying here although the weather did not start off good the first 3 days with a nor eastern churning at out banks and kicking up the pamlico sound. The last part of our stay was perfect good place to back my boat in and charge my batteries and the beach out front is perfect for all of my little ones to play in the water. Thanks again

Great place, fantastic house will definitely rent again. Everything u need for a great beach vacation. Wide open beach our dog Maggie really enjoyed herself. And the purple martins were showing up.

Off season get away

Perfect Vacation

We absolutely love staying here! It’s perfect for our two boys (5 and 2 years old) and dogs. It’s nice to get away to a nice quiet cottage, so many other places are crowded this time of year.
