About this property

Walking distance to downtown, 3-bedroom vintage cottage w/breezy front porch

Consider this cottage your home away from home while you visit Camden, Maine. This cozy in-town three-bedroom retreat accommodates up to six guests and offers a queen bed, a full bed, a twin bed, and trundle twin. Vintage charm awaits with 1/2 mile walking distance to downtown, harbor, shops and galleries. A favorite gathering space is the front porch with a view of pedestrian passers-by. The bathroom is upstairs and newly renovated. The kitchen has just had an upgrade too. New photos will be added very soon. There is a Weber grill available for guests and ample parting in the private gravel driveway. PLEASE READ: The town is repairing many roads this summer and Park street is one. There will be no interruption to utilities or driveway access but construction may be disruptive to resident between 7am - 4 pm all summer long, here and in other parts of town. The rate shown now is reduced to reflect this and I ask that if you submit a booking request, do so if you know this will not be a problem for you. I want all of my guests to be delighted with their stay. If you do not receive a response from me on VRBO within 10 minutes, please send a second message. The platform has been unable to troubleshoot an issue with intermittent first message delivery issues, but the second message seems to always push the first through. Thanks!

This was a lovely place to stay in Camden. We appreciated how cozy it felt—you really feel you have been welcomed into someone’s home as opposed to just a rental. It was also great to be walking distance to downtown. Kelly was responsive and welcoming and we would stay here again.

We had such a good time during our stay in Camden. The Dogwood Cottage had all we needed, plenty of of space for our group and was very comfortable. The distance to downtown was very manageable and was an enjoyable walk. Definitely recommend!!

Vintage house, well stocked and full of eclectic art, collectibles and books. Easy walk to town and short drive to excellent hikes. Backyard is fenced so perfect for a dog. Small ac units in 2 main bedrooms and large fan in living room kept everything comfortable.
