Oceanview Bungalow Style Home in Owls Head

Cozy Oceanview nautical themed home off of Crockett's Beach in Owls Head, Maine. Just over a mile away from Birch Point State Park where you might catch a glimpse of the lobstermen work. Ten minutes to Rockland, the Lobster Capital of the World and the art center of the mid-coast where you can visit art galleries and the Farnsworth Art Museum. The Rockland Chamber of Commerce, located in Rockland has information on local events and activities. Visit antique shops, and restaurants. Fifteen minutes to PenBay Medical center in Rockland. Twenty minutes to Camden harbor, full of windjammers. Explore the little villages of the St, George, Spruce Head, Tenants Harbor, Port Clyde. Enjoy the views from local lighthouses and the Rockland Breakwater!

The house is very open and light, has an upstairs bedroom with a king size bed with a walk out terrace and a half bathroom with a small open area with a twin size bed. Downstairs is a bedroom with a queen size bed, and a bedroom with a full size bed. The main floor also has a twin size bunk bed. There is a full bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub, kitchen with stove, refrigerator, and basic kitchen supplies. The living room has a couch and chair. There is baseboard heat. TV and Wifi. Also No smoking please.

Wonderful property in a quiet area. Our family enjoyed the water views and spending time outside around lush plant life. It was easily accessible from RKD airport and a fast drive into Rockland. We would stay here again and highly recommend.

It was hard to leave this amazing property and beautiful Maine coast location with water views. One of the nicest vacation homes we’ve rented . The home is beautifully and comfortably furnished with everything one might need and the owners were wonderful to communicate with.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Oceanview Bungalow. The overflowing flower bushes surrounding the beautifully appointed home and watching the sun rise over the ocean's horizon from the upstairs balcony while sipping a cup of coffee each morning were special highlights of my stay. The huge inventory of flour, sugar, oil, and spices were a nice plus. My husband and two rather picky twenty somethings gave it a huge thumbs-up and would definitely come again. I sincerely hope we do!

Great place to stay for our 3 day trip to the area. We used the fire pit ( wood provided) and were comfortably hanging out. We enjoyed the very well maintained grounds and felt the peacefulness of the area. Very nice inside with comfy beds! Its only 10 minutes up to restaurants and all the activity but far enough to feel secluded.

Very nice, clean property in a good location. It is a little hard to tell where this property ends and the neighbors begin! We almost started a fire in the wrong fire pit! (Ha!). The one bathroom with shower is on a different floor than the bedrooms so keep that in mind if you are a large group. There were no wine glasses so hopefully that gets remedied.

The house was great, it had everything we needed. Communication was easy. It is between 2 small state parks and an airport. Our boys loved watching planes go by. Only downfall was location of the house. It’s in a very non-private residential area. Felt like we were imposing on the neighbors a bit. Use this house for a good hub with lots of amenities to see the surrounding areas such as Rockland (10 min) and Boothbay (1hr). Not much to do around the house itself.

Beautiful Relaxing Retreat

Owls Head is close to Camden but like a quiet retreat location. The home is beautifully decorated and landscaped. Plenty of room for a family or multiple couples. Would definitely return.

Our time in Owls Head was fantastic! The house was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space inside and outside for all five of us to spread out and relax. The kids especially loved getting to play outside. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and more and was so convenient for our daily excursions.
