big, spacey house in best location, secluded and sunny

Our house is located in a prime scenic spot at 1,320 metres in the health resort of Krakauebene, Murau District, Styria. It features 8 bedrooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens, living rooms, 3 bathrooms, and 5 bathrooms.

Plenty of space around the house, no traffic—which is why we’re a very popular choice among families, extended families, and groups.

In the nearby town centre, you’ll find the parish church, the tourist office, and the Stigenwirth restaurant. Other good inns include the Jagawirt in Krakauschatten, the Guniwirt in Krakaudorf, the Forellenstation, and the Karlhütte near Lake Etrach. The Krakauebene family ski area (Tockneralm lifts), featuring the Krakautal Ski School—popular with families and very affordable—is just a 3-minute drive away. Here, the Liftstüberl invites you to stop for a break.
Unspoiled nature, sparkling mountain lakes, sustainable tourism, and plenty of sports and recreational opportunities in every season. The start of the Dockneralm ski tour is right next to our house; the popular Preberseeloipe cross-country trail is just a few minutes’ drive away—here you’ll also find the Preberhof and the Ludlalm.
We are the largest holiday home for families, family gatherings, and groups in Krakau, Styria, and the surrounding area. Open year-round. Pure nature, peace, and relaxation!
