Your cozy getaway awaits in Galveston at this welcoming house with everything you need to relax, fish, enjoy the canal, head to the beach, and enjoy everything Sea Isle has to offer. Free use of Boat Lift so you can bring your own boat and drop right in under the house and hit the bay (only two canals from bay so minimum no wake zone exit), Or, fish right off the deck--we've caught black drum, red fish, trout, and even flounder. Sea Isle Marina is close by with a great bait shop (live shrimp, croakers, etc.), a wonderful restaurant and when in season, crawfish on weekends. Friday night karaoke many weekends as well with frequent live music!

Pet Friendly, Canal House, underwater fish lights, 5 kayaks and life jackets, fish cleaning station, 80s Style Arcade Game (Mortal Kombat, Defender and several others) in bunk room, brand new new cool upper deck (easy on feet in the heat), upstairs BBQ pit for convenience access to kitchen, and ample outdoor and downstairs furniture for lounging, dining, napping, etc.

With three bedrooms featuring two queen beds, a bunk bed, and a full trundle pull out bed, guests have plenty of space to relax. The three bathrooms include a shower, a jetted bathtub, and a classic bathtub/shower, and an outdoor shower and bathroom downstairs, offering options for a refreshing start or a soothing soak. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of adventure or gathering for a meal, this awesome home provides a perfect setting. You’re sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

Sea Isle also boasts the longest private dock on the island and you have a private access key card to that and access (for stay fee) to community pool, hot tub, and tennis courts. The beach is only minutes away and numerous golf cart rental firms delivery to the property.

Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Clean BBQ if used

Be sure to hang pier and dock key back where found--there is a $300 neighborhood fine for lost pier card or boat launch key loss

Return kayaks, oars, to rack and hoist the ladder to avoid barnacles for future guests. Return life jackets to downstairs bathroom.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We had a wonderful time- spent our week fishing on the back pier (caught speckled trout, white trout and catfish), kayaked, and relaxed in the amazing gliders on the deck. Our pup loved the big yard and checking out the fish swimming in the water. The accommodations were comfortable and AC worked excellent!

We really enjoyed our stay at Reel Fun in Sea Isle! We're familiar with the island, and wanted a simple relaxing getaway for my Husband's 50th birthday. His request: "I wanna FISH", and we did just that, from the dock, from the available kayaks, and to his surprise with a local Fishing guide by boat, that could access the house from the canal!!! The house was well appointed, cost was very reasonable, and the host was quick to respond. We will definitely rent here again!!!

We had such a good time! Great location! Our original house we booked somewhere else, had to cancel the night before we left. This was a very last minute reservation and it worked out great. Will be back!

Relaxing and fun!

We had a great time. Fishing and relaxing outside. It poured rain most of the weekend but the house has everything you could need. Restaurants are close and recommend West End Marina for good eats.

Wonderful Getaway!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful time! I would recommend this beach house to anyone. The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking at the stars at night. We can not wait to come back and the kids what to make it a yearly event. Owner is very nice and great to work with. Thank you for letting us stay in your bay house.

Little house on the canal!!!

We absolutely loved our little house on the canal!!! The rooms were cozy, scenery beautiful and the kids loved playing on the dock with the swing...we had 2 issues...one was resolved very quickly with the refrigerator...it was not cooling very well but Aimee was on it and we appreciated her urgency...also, the ladder going into the water off the dock has a jagged edge and all the kids got cut on and one of out kids ended up with 4 stitches...we did tell Aimee about it...thought you might have someone sand it down...things like that happen...we know...it didn't hinder the kids from having a blast and the parents a most relaxing 5 days in Galveston!!! The accomodations are great...comfy beds, stocked kitchen, plenty of room ...we loved it!!!

Thank you for the 5 stars and we are glad you loved it and had a great time. The compliment on our sense of urgency on the refrigerator also means a lot to us! Sears service confirmed the refrigerator is at 100% and recharged the freon just in case. We hate to hear about anyone cutting themselves while swimming near saltwater structures like the ladder into the water. We confirmed there are no jagged metal edges on the ladder itself but were some barnacles that had attached as they do in saltwater. We removed the barnacles that were present but cant absolutely prevent them. I wish we could but have found the best way to protect against barnacles is to wear swim shoes. We certainly wish no one would have been hurt and are so glad the trip was a great one overall. We always love when our guests have a great time

Aimee is a terrific host. She communicated before our arrival, during our stay, and after we left. We didn’t have any issues except not catching any fish in the back channel. The house was well furnished and kitchen well stocked. Each room has a TV which our kids enjoyed. The A/C worked great. The upper deck and downstairs area are also well furnished.

This property was great for family and kids! Being able to kayak right from the back porch to fishing off the dock was great. Location was perfect to have a very short drive to the beach. Absolutely loved all the space on top deck. It also was not smack dead in the middle of all the busy in Galveston so the noise was limited to just the ocean! So peaceful, if I had any questions the host was great at responding quickly. I would definitely book this spot again for a quick get away.

The owner family has Louisiana roots and has been hosting guests since 2012. There was a period of time when the property was managed by a third party and the family elected to resume self management recently. This is why there is a gap between prior rental period and current status.

Sea Isle is an incredible family friendly neighborhood with great convenient amenities, including the Marina, The Palapa Restaurant, the Sand Bar Restaurant, that often has live music, boiled crawfish, Karaoke. It also has a great convenience store, bait shop, tennis courts, swimming pool, and the longest privatre dock on the island.
