This is a one of kind cabin that we built. Your rental space is the first floor of our 2 story cabin. This 2-bedroom cozy cabin is perfect for your escape to Embden. Inside, guests find a small kitchen (with full size stove, dorm size fridge), living room combination, a full bed and a bunk bed, making it a terrific spot for families or friends. The cabin features a mini-split to keep you warm, AC on the rare hot evening, and a bathroom with a refreshing shower. There is a covered porch for you to enjoy sitting outside. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or exploring the many nearby waterfalls and mountains, this fantastic cabin offers a comfortable retreat. Our place will help you feel at home while you're traveling in Maine.

Paddle boards, kayaks, canoe available for extra fee per stay. But feel free to bring your own. Bring your own life jackets. Those are required.
The upstairs is not available to renters. We may be present in the upstairs unit.

Why they chose this property

This is a perfect getaway. The lake and the land are gorgeous. Listening to the loons, watching the eagles, and laughing at the chipmunks yapping while lounging on the dock or swinging in the hammock is a great way to spend the day.

What makes this property unique

We built it ourselves! It is one of a kind. The space you will be renting is a cozy 550 square foot space on the first floor of our 2 story cabin. There is a stairwell a joining the two units, but both units lock and have privacy. We do not rent the upstairs. Occasionally we may be upstairs, but we will not disturb you. If you have any questions we are a phone call away.
We have some playing cards, some games and puzzles for you to enjoy.
