Come to Waldport for your next Oregon Coast vacation and stay in this charming bayfront home. This home is even dog-friendly, so you can bring your favorite canine family members along as well!



Located in a quiet neighborhood in Bayshore Estates right on Alsea Bay, this home puts you waterside for a peaceful vacation experience. You'll have a fantastic view of the bridge, and you'll be surrounded by wildlife and boats cruising by at high tide. Launch your kayak right out back, hop on Highway 101 to go exploring, and travel less than three miles for groceries in Waldport proper.



This rental is a great family home with comfortable furnishings and plenty of open space. Revel in the views from the wall of windows in the living/dining area. Stoke a fire in the wood stove and have a movie night in the living room on the flatscreen cable TV. Make a selection from the VHS library or bring your own DVDs from home. Get your bearings and investigate the area using the free WiFi and make plans for your stay.



When it's time to feed your crew, send the cook to the kitchen, which features standard appliances (including a dishwasher). Meal prep and clean-up are made easy, and you can enjoy meals together at the dining table for six. (Two additional seats are also available at the breakfast bar.) After dinner, hang out on the deck and while away the remainder of the day on the swing. Or, have a cookout and eat on the picnic table on the deck.



At bedtime, sink into the king-size bed in the main bedroom, which also features an en suite bath and a view of the bay. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the bedroom off the living area is great for kids with two twin beds. Altogether, this three-bedroom, two-bath home accommodates up to six guests. Two dogs are also welcome for a small nightly fee. And there's a washer and dryer in the second bathroom to keep your clothes fresh and sand-free throughout your stay.



Spend some time on your deck and watch birds swim and harbor seals dive right by the dock while the kids and dogs run free in the fenced yard.



Take a bike ride or a leisurely stroll on the beach, or hop on Highway 101 and head five miles north to Seal Rock at low tide to check out the tide pools. Or, go five miles south to Wakonda Beach or 11 miles to Yachats.

Great view of the Bay. Nice layout of the home. Great place for pets, fully fenced and safe. The hosts were awesome, answered any questions very fast. The house could use a refresh, and the ants weren't fun, but we dealt with that.

The location of this bayfront home was excellent. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and seeing birds and seals from the lovely living room windows. The value of the house is good, and the ability to bring a dog a plus. The house is very well managed.

We absolutely loved this house! From the moment we arrived, everything was easy and comfortable. The home had everything we needed, and the host was amazing—friendly, helpful, and wonderful with communication.And that view! The entire house overlooks the Alsea Bay Bridge and the bay, but sitting in the hot tub enjoying that incredible view was definitely one of our favorite parts. The neighborhood is very private, peaceful, and quiet—the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the coast.Our mornings were especially beautiful. We watched people crabbing on the bay, enjoyed all the beautiful birds, and even had a seal show up to say hello! 🦭 It’s the kind of place where you can sit with your coffee and happily do absolutely nothing except watch the bay come to life.There are just a couple of things that could use some attention. The ants were unfortunately pretty persistent and difficult to deal with, and some of the outdoor seating is showing its age and could use replacing. Neither takes away from how much we enjoyed the home, but addressing those things would make an already wonderful place even better.Thank you for sharing such a beautiful and relaxing home with us. We left with wonderful memories and would absolutely love to come back someday—hopefully with the seal still there to welcome us!

Property location and view was excellent on the bay and enjoyed watching the Seals. Auto lock did not work and had to call host to get code to box with a key. Kitchen, living room and bedrooms were very clean and nice. Beds were comfy. The house was clean, however small appliances were put away not clean. Inside portable grill had food left on it as well as the griddle had eggs cooked on it. The crock pot was extremely dirty with food drippings all over the outside. It could use a new stove top as well. The fridge had a makeshift handle that had a sharp edge on it. We did not use the hot tub so can't comment on it. It could use an upgrade on the bedding as the bedspreads and pillow shams were stained. Lastly there was a sugar ant problem in the kitchen and bathrooms. They were also on two of the beds. Despite these things, we enjoyed our stay and would probably rent again if the above issues were addressed.

This property was in the majority great. It does have some cleaniness and comfort issues. The ceiling fans were very dirty. We had to clean the large living room fan before using. The bathroom vents are dirty. Microwave is old with some rust and smelled of burnt food. Ants in kitchen had us on ant patrol everyday. The fridge while ok had a broken handle and in general the kitchen needs better cookware and organization to be more functional.The bath is a sunken bath and does not fully work, shower on bath leaks and as it is a sunken bath could be dangerous for some people. The shower is in need of renewal as it is very small, you had to wrangle it on and off as it didnt stay in position for consistent water temperature. No heating in either bathroom.The bedrooms while clean enough but had old mattresses with very uncomfortable pillows which were stained and had no pillow protectors. We had to reorganize the pillows to make sure we had clean ones. This property needs to update its bedding and pilows.Overall if this property had several modern updates it would be a 10/10. Views are lovely and location great.If this property was updated with all issues being taken care of we would return.

The view from the home is gorgeous and the hot tub on the deck is lovely. But if I was to sum up this property in one word it would be "tired". As we walked in there was an overwhelming musty smell. There is only one small window in addition to the slider that opens, so finally on the second day of keeping those open all the time the smell lessened. We couldn't find forks or dish towels in the kitchen. Finally found all of the forks in the dishwasher that hadn't been emptied. Never found towels. So many maintenance items that just haven't been addressed (broken refrigerator handle, drain stopper doesn't work in the bathtub, rusted microwave, missing dining room chair, broken cabinet doors, no fan in the only shower bathroom). All of the cabinet doors are splattered with something. I thought they must be stained, but after scrubbing for 5 seconds I could tell they just have not been cleaned. Bedding and curtains are thin and stained.I love this neighborhood and have stayed in many different rentals here. Unfortunately this is not one I would come back to or recommend. It's hard to feel relaxed on vacation when the home is falling apart.(The property manager did stop by with dish towels and a drain stopper, which I appreciated!)
