Restored log cabin with classic porch - near river, trails, hot springs, & more

Summary:

Renee's Log House

The Space:

Enjoy the very best of old and new at this McKenzie Bridge home, a beautifully restored log cabin with a classic front porch, a sparkling interior, and a wonderful woodland location for exploring the nearby river, hot springs, and hiking trails. Originally built in 1909 and lovingly restored in 2016, the cabin's interior makes thoughtful use of natural wood, exposed brick, and pristine white walls. Prepare meals for a crowd with ease in the full kitchen, where you'll find stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher), abundant cabinetry and counter space, and a large eat-in dining room table. Pass the morning hours outside on the porch, where you can read the newspaper in a rocking chair or use the free WiFi to plan your next hike. Grab your rods and tackle to spend the day fishing for rainbow trout or Chinook salmon; you'll come home to a private washer/dryer for your clothes, a pellet stove to warm your toes, and a flatscreen TV for movie nights in the plush living room.

Come and discover the lush forest beauty of McKenzie Bridge - book your unforgettable stay in Lane County today!

What's nearby:

This two-level log cabin sits on a densely wooded property within Willamette National Forest, equidistant from Eugene (52 miles west) and Sisters (50 miles east). Wander one mile up the road to meet up with the McKenzie River Trail; spend your days fishing, kayaking, rafting, and swimming in the river itself; and indulge in daily soaks in the Belknap Hot Springs (six miles east) and the Cougar Hot Springs (13 miles southwest). Feel free to bring your own DVDs to enjoy, or rent some from the local Blue Sky Market!

Great Getaway on the McKenzie

Renee’s log house was a great spot for our two families to enjoy a weekend along the river. The common areas are large and there are ample sleeping arrangements for everyone. The backyard is a great space that has sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon. We will be back!

Perfect Winter Getaway

Just enough room for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids (living room could have had a few more seating options). The bedrooms were great and the dining table was huge

Great home for a large group!

This huge cabin has lots of character! Kitchen is huge and perfect for large family gatherings. The outdoor area is also great and accommodates large groups. Nice patio with new furniture and a nice size lawn space for lawn games.
