Another wonderful getaway to the McKenzie. The Whiskey Rock cabin never disappoints. And then there’s the brisket & Tri tip across the parking lot at McKenzie Station. Words can’t describe how good it is! Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay. It was clean and cute however check in was a little challenging. The lock / code wasn't set so we couldn't get in and because we couldn't do an early check in we arrived fairly late do to helping with a wedding we were in . However courtany was very helpful and apologetic and got us in as quick as she could . Which we truly appreciated.

Regarding early check-in, unfortunately we were unable to accommodate that request due to a same-day turnover during our busy season. We had a fun stay along the McKenzie River. The cabin was well stocked with basic needs and games, but mostly we lounged near the river where there was plenty of space and privacy for fishing or relaxing. We will definitely plan to stay again. This cabin was a great weekend escape with lots of nearby hiking and fishing.

The view does not disappoint, right on the river edge. The sound was magical! The sunroom was my favorite. Comfy bedding and clean bathrooms.

McKenzie River Retreat

I wanted to celebrate my 50th in my favorite spot in Oregon. The Whiskey Rock Cabin did not disappoint. The cabin was beautiful, clean & cozy. We enjoyed cocktails on the deck while watching the river roll by and cards in the evening next to the fire. My only complaint is we had to leave it behind to return to reality. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Very comfortable. We especially liked the screen porch, listening to the river and surrounded by trees. The hot tub was a nice bonus. Appreciated the AC on the 90 deg days. Courtney was a responsible and communicative host.
