My husband and I truly enjoyed staying in this beautiful private home. It has curb appeal and when we opened the front gate to enter the property, we were pleasantly greeted with a beautiful, peaceful and private patio. In the mornings we enjoyed our coffee in the patio. We also enjoyed watching the birds drinking and playing in the fountain, Inside the home it is very well kept and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Upstairs are three good sized bedrooms with access to 2 terraces. We enjoyed the terrace in the back of the home because of its privacy and open space. Thank you to Gemma, James and Walter for their excellent communication skills. Anytime I had a question about the home, their response was almost immediate. We highly recommend Shalako Adventures.

great romantic stay!

my fiance and i came here for our anniversary and it was perfect!! so close to the lifts, great views, and literally had everything we could possibly need!! loved this home and would absolutely come back!

Beautiful surroundings and relaxing

Good place stay with family or friends!

Enough room for us which was 8 people. Might have enough for 2 more people. Very quiet neiborhood for rest and peace.

Very nice

Convient location in the village to everything, clean, well stocked, nice home. Front stairs and garage stairs are a bit much for older persons.

Great location & spacious home

Home is a great location to lifts - easy walk/bike ride to get there. Home is spacious & appreciated having the garage to store our mountain bikes & be able to pull in our full size truck during storms. Elk, deer & rabbits came through often to eat/ graze on the grass. A coyote visited as well & stayed under a tree during a heavy storm. Loved seeing all the wildlife. Enjoyed the front balcony & back porch to give options during the day of shade or sun. Very peaceful location.

New years stay

The house is beautiful and they had everything we needed. The only reason I’m not giving a 5 star is because we couldn’t get the fireplace to work. We called & stayed on hold for about an hour for them to tell us they’d have to call us back later that night or the next & never did.

Very great stay except

The stay was lovely & the house was amazing. My only complaint was there was no cooling system in the home so we stayed 3 days w a hot house. I asked the property management where it was & gave me instructions but still it did not work. If it wasn’t for the fans in the house it would have been a hot box. Also the shower didn’t get hot until after a couple minutes & when someone else was using the tub or the other shower the water pressure went down & the hot water turned cold this was in the master bathroom. Other than that we loved our stay but I would def stay somewhere else while staying in angel fire.

No Air Conditioning

This is a nice house, but I booked this property because it advertised air conditioning. I have allergies and expected the description to be accurate. There was no air and I suffered all week with my allergies. The week we stayed was also very warm, so it was uncomfortably hot during the day. The house itself was as shown in the description although the other disappointment was the mattress. It was very soft and sank in the middle. We tried to contact Vacasa about the air conditioning, but they never responded to our complaint.
