About this property

Home on the Hill - Beautiful Modern Two Bedroom Capitol Hill Townhouse

Our 2 bedroom townhouse is completely renovated and furnished with all that guests need to enjoy their stay in the amazing Capitol Hill Eastern Market area of Washington, D.C..We are walking distance to the restaurants, bars and shops lined along Barracks Row, Pennsylvania Avenue and 7th Street. The iconic Eastern Market, a 143 year old building with its farm fresh produce and open air market on weekends and the Eastern Market Metro stop are 3 blocks away. The new Riverfront area with Navy Yard Park and SW Wharf area is within walking distance.

Our guests will have private access to the house and access to the backyard with barbecue and parking pad. The backyard is secured by a garage door.
We respect your privacy but we are always available via inbox, email, and phone.

There is a keypad for entry to the house and a code will be sent to you a day before your arrival. Please remember to press the lock icon on the keypad when going out as this locks the door. There is a middle bedroom upstairs which is locked as it contains our personal property.The stove is run by induction so please only use the special pots and pans which we have provided.
As stated in our rules, smoking in the house, backyard and front yard is not permitted.

We are surrounded by amazing restaurants and grocery stores that can nourish and nurture you as you walk to the unique historic and new places that people come to Washington to enjoy.

Please leave the yellow glass door unlocked during the day. Package deliveries are placed in the vestibule and visitors need to access the main door.

Despite being a part of Washington DC ( the Nation’s capital) Capitol Hill feels like a European village due to it’s protected historic architectural status . People are seen walking their dogs, pushing kids in strollers, running or walking to stay fit, seniors enjoying retirement, and (best part) smiling and saying hello !! Quite refreshing in contrast to usual city life with hustle and bustle.

Our house combines the charm of historic architecture and a modern interior . During cold weather guests can enjoy cooking in our gourmet kitchen and relaxing by the gas fireplace in the living room. Once spring, summer and fall occur, our backyard with gated parking pad, dining table and chairs , gas grill and beautiful landscaping can be enjoyed
