Come enjoy your home away on Capitol Hill. Located on a family friendly block with great neighbors, this apartment is centrally located in one of Washington, DC's oldest and most sought after neighborhoods. With Metro public transit (rail and bus) just 2 blocks away, you have access to explore this great city and get around with ease. At approximately 1000 sq. ft., the residence comfortably sleeps 4.

We do have a 2 night minimum stay

The apartment is fully furnished. All you need to do is show up.
The bedroom has a queen bed with new mattress and box spring
There is a sofa with pullout queen bed in the living room.
The dining room table seats 6.

The apartment is situated within walking distance of the U.S. Capitol, numerous museums, restaurants and other attractions (almost all free).
Choose between Potomac Avenue Metro (1 block away) or take an easy 5 block walk to the Eastern Market Metro(rail) or hop on the Metrobus at the end of the block, 13th St, SE. If you are driving, there is public street parking available on the block. (We can provide a visitor's pass)
There is no shortage of restaurants to suit your taste all within a 4-5 block radius on Barracks Row.

The rental was very nice and the location is near the metro station which we used each day. Grocery store is also near. The kitchen was very well equipped, better than any of the other rentals we have used. The best part was the air conditioner! The week we were there included 3 days of extreme heat warnings and it was a welcome relief to walk into a cool place at the end of the day!! We would definitely stay again.

The property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The Metro was a short walk away and we purchased a short-trip 7 day ticket that took us to all attractions downtown plus the baseball and soccer arenas. Daryl the host was very responsive and awesome!We will definitely stay here again and recommend for family and friends staying in the area.

This is one of the most well appointed VRBO properties that I have ever visited. It is a wonderful place to stay. The kitchen had everything that we needed. And the bath was also incredibly well stocked. The property was so clean and comfortable. We loved it and the hosts are terrific. 10/10

The host Daryl is very responsive and did everything to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. The unit is well equipped with kitchen and dining needs, features comfortable living room furniture, and is located in a safe, quiet, tree-lined, residential part of D.C. -- super close to the subway (Metro), for easy transport to the metropolitan areas. We recommend this place to others visiting D.C.!We gave five stars out of 5 for all aspects except for a 4 for check-in process only because the lock box is a bit hard to open and handle.

Amazing Stay

Excellent location, and the property was remarkably clean and comfortable. The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Womack, were incredibly responsive and attentive throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

Great place, very clean and the host were great people. When we arrived, check in was easy and everything that was listed was on point! The metro, grocery, CVS everything is walking distance. We had a great stay and DC is something to see!

4th of July in DC

Quick family trip to DC for the 4th of July. Location was close to everything, we walked or Uber’d every where we went. The accommodations were perfect, very clean, and had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Granddaughter’s spring break
