Beautiful vacation home directly on the canal

The holiday home is a stylish little townhouse in the heart of Friedrichstadt’s historic old town, not far from the North Sea.
The historic, listed building is located right on a canal. You can sit right by the water and enjoy your morning coffee. There are seating areas available for you in the garden.
You can explore the town’s canals or the Treene River by canoe. The boat rental is about 70 metres from the house.
Despite its city centre location, the house is exceptionally quiet.

Friedrichstadt was founded in 1621 by Dutch religious refugees and is unique in Germany. Characteristic canals wind through the historic old town, which is affectionately known as “Little Amsterdam” or “Little Venice.” Friedrichstadt is a wonderful place to relax and recharge your batteries.
A highlight in Friedrichstadt are the guided canal tours, which are possible even in the rain thanks to covered boats.
Friedrichstadt is the ideal starting point for extended hikes and bike tours. It’s also very centrally located for day trips to the North Sea coast, home to the Wadden Sea—a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site—as well as the Halligen and surrounding islands. Husum is just 15 minutes away. St. Peter-Ording and Büsum are also within easy reach.
You can also travel by train. From Hamburg, you can reach Friedrichstadt in just 1.5 hours, or you can take a day trip to the island of Sylt, for example.
