This property made for an excellent stay for our family experiencing West Virginia New River Gorge area for the first time. It was centrally located to the different NRG visitor centers. After a period of time exploring we could come back to reset for another excursion, and then at the end of the day, enjoy the sauna and hot tub. These each were a treat. Mornings were quiet at the fire pit or patio table. The fenced in yard area created a peaceful extension of the living space. We also found the kitchen space perfect for making simple meals, and having the grill as an option was also ideal. The interior design choices were also key in creating a restful space from which we all benefited. And we all agreed these beds-the mattresses-were comfortable, and in fact enhanced our sleep. This accommodation has thought of everything!
Nice house and was close to New River Gorge. Would have been nice to have extra towels so we didn’t have to do laundry each day, but not a huge deal. Small yard not much room to play in. Would have been nice to have somewhere to put clothes so didn’t have to leave in suitcase but again not a deal breaker. Overall would stay again. Clean, well kept.
We spent a few days here with our three children and we were very happy with the property. The kids loved it! The amenities outside were great and the fenced in yard gave us the privacy we wanted, even though the neighbors we met were very nice . The proximity to NRG National Park was ideal. We booked rafting and zipline tours with ACE and we were right there, which made our days so much lighter on travel. The house was clean and very comfortable. The host was very quick to respond to any of our questions too and was very nice. We would definitely recommend this house to stay at!
