Quinta Lusitana is a lovely house that we thoroughly enjoyed - whether swimming "with" the frogs (they stay on their side); enjoying the garden framed vista to the sea; watching the sunset from the roof; or cooking in the very well appointed and supplied kitchen. The bathrooms are great and the bedrooms have been updated with proper air conditioning that can be used and paid for pro rata at the end (we didn't need much at all with the sea breeze). Jens and Heidi are also great managers of the property who went above and beyond! Don't hesitate if you're looking for unique private experience that's close to plenty and easy to drive from. Nearby Olhão is a cute downtown with numerous options for services and supplies as well.

We loved the property, it was beautiful and the gardens were stunning. Jens was there if we needed any assistance with anything. We will definitely return to Quinta Luscitana.

Fell in love with this place!

Quiet place, house is well equipped and beautifully decorated. The garden is superb and the natural pool is an infinite source of observation of its wildlife. Frogs are also very friendly! Very warm welcome from The agency, thanks Jens! We’ll be back.

We had such a wonderful stay at Quinta Lusitana. From the moment we arrived, it was exactly the kind of place we had hoped for. Peaceful, private and surrounded by beautiful countryside, while still being perfectly placed for exploring the Eastern Algarve. The setting is absolutely beautiful. The villa feels wonderfully secluded and tranquil, and the views from the roof terrace are incredible. Being able to sit with a coffee and watch the sunrise and sunset was a real highlight. The house itself is gorgeous and extremely comfortable, with so much attention to detail. Having everything you could need. The kitchen was particularly well-equipped, which was important to us as we cooked for ourselves throughout our stay. And the pool is such a special feature. The natural pool and surrounding pond are beautiful and make the whole property unique. It was wonderful having our own private place to swim and cool off after days exploring in the heat. The location was also ideal for us. We loved exploring places such as Olhão, Faro, Fuseta, Moncarapacho and Tavira, while coming back to somewhere peaceful and rural at the end of the day. It really gave us the best of both worlds. Exploring the Algarve when we wanted to, but also having somewhere beautiful where we could simply slow down and relax. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful, private, characterful and surrounded by nature, rather than a busy resort or apartment complex we couldn't recommend it enough. We'd love to come back.

Quiet, private get away with pool

We loved our experience at this property. It's extremely private and quiet (maybe not the best for small kids). The pool and garden are worth the whole experience - flowers, nature and an ocean view in the distance. But if you prefer a classic swimming pool, probably this is not for you. The house is very comfortable and clean. It's a bit farther out, but the privacy is worth any drive you need to make to the city or beach. It also doesn't have a classic air conditioning system, but water cooled floors. So, it's a bit misleading. But we didn't need cooling in the first week of September. The nearby beaches around Faro are flat, sandy and beautiful. But the beaches with cliffs and caves which start around Albufeira and Westward were, for us, spectacular! And don't forget the locally grown oysters. They are fantastic!

Tolles Haus in schöner Lage

Wir waren Mitte Juli für 1 Woche in diesen Haus. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und komplett, nichts hat gefehlt. Der Naturteich ist hübsch, aber zum Schwimmen eher zu klein. Für eine Erfrischung reicht es aber. Der Naturteich beherbergt zahlreiche Frösche, die nachts ordentlich quaken. Nach der 2. Nacht hatten wir uns daran gewöhnt. Leider schafft es die Bodenkühlung nicht zumindest die Schlafzimmer spürbar zu kühlen. Im Hochsommer kann das, je nach Weterlage, zum Problem werden. Das sollte man wissen. Ansonsten ist das wirklich ein außerordentlich schönes Ferienhaus, in dem man sich, außer vielleicht im Hochsommer, sehr wohl fühlen kann. Die Komunikation mit Herr & Frau Höver war prima und sehr zuvorkommen, weiter so!

Vielen Dank für die positive Rückmeldung. Diese Gäste haben sehr heiße Tage erwischt, zudem hatte die Wärmepumpe einen Defekt, der erst nach Abreise festgestellt wurde. Davon abgesehen ist es richtig, dass die Bodenkühlung vor allem in sehr heißen Phasen nicht mit einer klassischen Klimaanlage mithalten kann. Aber meist sind die Nächte kaum über 20°C und es lässt sich am Abend gut lüften!

Belle location

Nous avons passé 15 jours dans cette villa très agréable et au calme . Très propre , bien entretenue à l’extérieur et toute équipée . Linge de lit , serviettes de bain et serviettes de plage à disposition . Nous avons aussi été très bien accueillis .
