Nature Lover's oasis! Come escape to the historic and wild Rappahannock River in Remington, Virginia. 50 miles from DC. The campsite is tucked into a private forest with views of the Rappahannock River's beautiful floodplain. The river is about 300 feet from your tent site. You may hike in the woods, forage for wild berries, stargaze in the meadow, swim, fish, tube, canoe, kayak, and fall asleep to the WETLAND coming to life. Enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this historic getaway.
The space The glamping tent has a queen size bed, side tables, lanterns, toilet with disposable compost bags, carpet, windows, and a heater if needed. Outside you will find a table with cabinet for 4-6, a fire pit, 6 chairs, and a beautiful view of the meadows and stars. The river is about a football field away down the hill for water recreation. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any extras. I can provide linens for an extra fee but most people prefer to bring their own.
Guest access You can typically drive straight through the field and down to the site as long as it’s not too muddy for your vehicle.
