Welcome to HAUS Maria. Our cosy, modern holiday home is idyllically situated on the edge of the forest. It’s ideal for families with children and/or dog lovers, as it offers plenty of space both inside and around the house for a carefree holiday. The holiday home is located in the forest holiday village of Regen in the Bavarian Forest, in the Arber region. Our house is situated right on the edge of the forest within the holiday village. It was built in the 1990s using a wood-frame construction method and was renovated and modernised in 2021. The upscale and cosy furnishings in a modern country-style create a welcoming atmosphere. Especially during the colder months, the electric fireplace and the wood-burning stove—which you can stoke yourself—provide a pleasant ambiance for cosy holiday days. The rooms are bright and feature exposed beams, which give the house its special charm. This quiet, very cosy house, situated on the edge of the forest, has two bedrooms, each with a double bed. Additionally, there is a sleeper sofa in the living room, a separate mattress, and a travel cot available. On the ground floor, you’ll find a very cosy living room with a modern electric fireplace and an additional wood-burning stove for heating the house yourself, as well as a fully equipped, new kitchen-diner with a dining area. Firewood is included. The entryway features a coat rack, a large hallway with additional coat hooks and a shelf, a storage room, a small bathroom, and the staircase. Upstairs are the two spacious bedrooms with double beds—one of which has access to the balcony. The bedrooms were renovated in 2023 and furnished with new furniture. Between the bedrooms is the large bathroom with a shower. All rooms feature exposed beams, which give the house its unique character. The main entrance is located at the back of the house, on the edge of the forest. On the south side, the house has a terrace with access to the garden. There, you’ll find comfortable patio furniture, a parasol, and a grill. In the garden, there is NEW! a private barrel sauna in the shape of a cube, featuring a spacious covered relaxation terrace with a view of the adjacent forest. This facility is available exclusively to guests of the Maria holiday home and the neighbouring holiday home. Starting in March 2024, an infrared heat cabin will also be installed in the garden shed. From the gardens of the houses, you can access the adjacent forest directly to relax, go for a walk, or let the children explore the woods (collecting moss and stones, throwing pinecones, playing hide-and-seek...). A high chair, a cot, and games are available for families. There is also a children’s playground in the forest holiday village. For dog owners, food bowls and an additional fence to enclose the garden are provided. Walk your dog right from the house. A 40% deposit is due 4 weeks after booking. The remaining 60% is due 4 weeks before the start of your stay. Payment must be made in advance via bank transfer: 40% 4 weeks after booking is confirmed, 60% 4 weeks before the start of your stay. Check-in from 4:00 p.m., check-out by 10:00 a.m. The keys are stored in a key safe. Flexible arrival. Sleeping spaces 5 and 6 can be set up on the sofa bed in the living room. The extra mattress can be set up as a 7th sleeping space. A travel cot for toddlers is available. Additional options: - Pets are allowed and warmly welcome. Fee: 5 EUR per day/pet - A linen package (bed linens, bath towels, hand towels, guest towels, tea towels, dishcloths) can be booked upon request. Fee: 14 EUR per person (one-time). - Sauna and relaxation area, including cleaning: Fee: 50 EUR / one-time / week - Visitor’s tax: Adults: 1.95 EUR per person/night.
