Wir We love it here in our beautiful Oker Valley. Waterfalls, unique rock formations dating back 370 million years, amazing views, the wildly romantic Oker River, trails, and winding roads.

We love discovering the countless attractions and places all within such close proximity. It’s just a short trip to the old town of Goslar, Bad Harzburg, and the mountain and spa towns in the Harz Mountains. So it’s also perfect for city breaks for art and culture lovers, as well as those who simply want to enjoy life.

As “Harz Hiking Emperors,” it was clear to us that this area needed a place to stay—after all, you can earn the “Golden Hiking Pin” just by hiking from here on foot. The house is also located right in the middle of one of the only three premium hiking trails in Lower Saxony, and the other two are just a 15-minute drive away.
