The Space:

Experience the quiet beauty and relaxing pace of Northern Michigan when you escape to this wonderful condo in the heart of Crystal Mountain Resort, a spacious, second-story home that sits only 500 steps from the ski lifts! In this private woodland setting alongside the third fairway of the Betsie Valley Golf Course, you'll be treated to two bedrooms with brand new mattresses (as of 2020), an inviting jetted bathtub in the master bedroom loft, as well as central AC, a balcony, and a wood-burning fireplace to welcome you home from your summer and winter excursions. What's nearby: Here in the center of Crystal Mountain, you can easily walk less than a quarter-mile to the base of the lifts and ski with your loved ones on 58 downhill slopes across 102 acres. (There's even a storage locker at the base of the condo for your ski or golf equipment.) Come summertime, you can tee off at the adjacent Betsie Valley Golf Course or spend your days exploring the wondrous shores of Lake Michigan, with Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore only 30 miles north. This was a great option for staying over the night before our daughter's final dance recital at Interlochen Summer Camp for the Arts. Wish we could have taken more advantage, but wildfire smoke was keeping us indoors.My only suggestions: - access to the outdoor pool should come with the rental.- there should be coffee and room temp stable half&half on hand for people to arrive late and still have those things when they wake up the next day.

The condo was very clean and in a great location! It was close to the outdoor pool area and a short walk to the restaurants in Crystal Mountain area. About a 30-40 minute drive to lots of fun attractions like sleeping bear dunes and Frankfort area. When I booked the listing indicated there was a pool available, but not disclose there was a daily fee of 20 per person to use it (we are a family of 5 so that really increases costs). This information was not disclosed until I inquired about the pool access. It looks like the listing has since been updated. Other than this miscommunication we were very happy with the property itself.

Wonderful Location

This is our second stay within the Crystal Mountain area and loved it once again. The unit we stayed in was very comfortable for the four of us and nicely laid out. We found the area very convenient to multiple places to visit such as Iron Fish Distillery, wineries, and breweries.
