Incredible water views and activities for the nature buff .. every day of the year (summer, fall, winter AND spring)! Overlooking the Assawoman Canal and Jefferson Creek, and just a mile to the beach, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath home is a great base camp for your family's beach adventures. Large screened porch and deck allow you to relax and enjoy the view. Private access to the canal, just bring your kayak, canoe or stand-up paddleboard! Central air conditioning, well-equipped kitchen, washer, dryer and more. 2 TVs (including one Netflix capable with guest's own account), DVD, library of books, board games, Wifi., outside shower, charcoal grill, wood-burning fireplace). *Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available. The house was very clean, extremely homey and well stocked for an easy Easter weekend at the beach. We very much enjoyed the screened in porch and my 4 year old loved walking down to the water to explore. We will definitely be back!

Door lock system didnt work. Had to wait an hour to gain entry. Once inside, the unit was not cleaned from the last renters. Had to wait for cleaners to come. They even admitted to how filthy everything was. Bathrooms, kitchen, floors all filthy. Previous renters left full trash bags in unit and food in freezer. Fridge was not cleaned. Didnt get our two small children fed until 830pm that night. No wifi from the time we checked in until 4pm before checkout day. Was expected to have someone over 18 waiting at unit to have wifi fixed. Ants were a problem. MBR sink didnt drain properly. Deck doorlocks didnt work. Bunk beds creaked so bad that we were afraid to use. No soaps in bathrooms. No cleaning products available. Beach umbrella broken. Terrible responses from vacasa/vuestay when they actually did respond.

Great place for us

Enjoyed the comfy house, loved the porches. We liked all the area offered us - kayaking, bird watching, tennis, beach and seafood restaurants. Best recommendation I can give - would look forward to renting it again.
