We have stayed at this property in the past. This time was different - property was recently sold and is under new management company. We arrived to a construction zone. No prior warning of anything being done to property prior to arrival, photos outdated and still showing and advertising house and amenities prior to construction. The house is being redone, the patio is under construction, tractors and excavators on site, dust and dirt everywhere. We came to enjoy the outdoor environment and stay by the fire each night, enjoying the scenery. Property manager called us in the morning and with arrogance told us that yep, as you saw, the house is under construction and you are free to leave if you wish. We are not allowed to use a patio as it is still being worked on - no fire pit, table is upside down on the lawn, chairs and deck are covered in dirt. Jeff, the property manager, was arrogant and told us that yeah, construction happens and we just happen to come a week too soon. At one point he told us that we did’t really have much of a choice as there was a cranberry fast and we should just take it or leave it. Unbelievable! A side note - this house is very much rundown - can’t even open most of the windows as those are rotted through, house not well stocked. I would stay away for as long as it is managed by this unprofessional management company. We left the minute I hung up the phone. Disaster… Stay away!
