We spent a great long weekend at this property with our kids and grandkids. It was wonderful, a beautiful property with high end amenities. We especially loved the canoes and were glad that we added the pontoon rental. Plenty of space for everyone and lots of memories made.

Very quiet and peaceful setting on the lake. The kids had a blast on the lily pad and it kept them in the water for hours. The kitchen was a great size to accommodate our crew and fixing dinners as a family. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The host was exceptionally gracious and accommodating. There were issues with the property that arose before the stay and he kept us well informed. He was great at responding to messages timely and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best. 11 out of 10 ! Thanks so much for hosting us !

Pure magic... a place like no other. I cannot say enough about my experience here. It is worth every penny for the peaceful serenity that is Greshem Retreat. It truly is a retreat in every sense. The property is secluded and exactly as described in the listing. The hosts are amazing and responded within minutes any time I had a question. It is evident they aren't in it for the money and genuinely want guests to have the best experience possible. Book this today.. you will not regret it. I've already rebooked my next stay.

Loved everything about the place. There was a bit of a snafu at check in as the place had not been cleaned between guests, but Geoff was very responsive and on top of the issue from the very beginning. Overall a great place to stay and would definitely consider returning in the future.

The house and location were exactly what we were looking for. Our group had a great time during our stay! The entire upstairs has been remodeled all amenities are modern. The large kitchen allowed our entire group to gather in one space and cook together. The tablet with information for the stay and instructions is a great feature. We would definitely consider coming back. I'm sure the planned updates in 2026 will make the property even better!

This was a perfect location to spend time with our grown children and grandchildren. We loved spending time at the lake and kayaking/canoeing and of course the Lilly pad. The lower level rec room was a great place to spend the evenings playing games.

Group stay for 3 families with young children. The house was beautiful and accommodated us perfectly. The setting was private and had everything we needed. A brief power outage occurred but owners were very responsive. Enjoyed views throughout the house.

Great house on the lake. We loved the canoes, kayaks, fire pit and grill. The interior is nice, with a modern kitchen and entertainment options like foosball, a pool table and dart board. When we had an issue with a tv, host was responsive to help us troubleshoot. We’ve stayed here multiple times and plan to be back.

Great vacation home!

We had a great stay at Gresham Retreat. The house and lake were perfect for our family. The lake was beautiful - it was so nice to have access to the various boats to explore and enjoy the water. We had a great stay and hope to come back next year!

Favorite Northwoods Destination

Gresham Retreat never fails to deliver an excellent, stress free vacation. The privacy from any neighbors, good fishing right off the pier, swimming (with the Lily Pad float always a big hit), the many kayaks available, firepit and a beautiful house with room for everyone. Those are just some of the reasons we continue to make Gresham Retreat our summer vacation destination.

A perfect getaway

The cabin was exactly as pictured and the host was very thorough in describing the amenities! The cabin is gorgeous and there is plenty of space. We’d love to be back in summer to enjoy the lake!
