This is a great place to stay if you want to see Vancouver. The train is about a 10 minute walk, and you can get downtown fairly quickly on the train which is a huge deal to not need to drive anywhere to get to a train. There is a grocery store at the end of the street maybe a 5 minute walk. Bring your own bags for the grocery store. There are lots of food options nearby as well, although it would be a bit of a walk to get to some of them. The apartment is very nice and affordable and worth the stay. I found the beds comfortable, and having a washer/dryer available was great after a week of traveling. My only semi-complaint is the toilets pulse water when they fill rather than run constantly like a normal toilet, so when someone flushes in the unit or elsewhere in the building the water in the pipes in the wall of the back bedroom hammer as the water pulses in the toilet. It took me a while to figure out what the hammering noise was. So put the kids in the back room where they won't notice it as much. Overall a great place, and If I'm ever back in Vancouver I would stay there again.
