We had a terrific stay. Our family enjoyed swimming in the lake, fishing and kayaking. The house was beautiful and close to a couple of small grocery stores. The bedding was extremely comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes. The home is at the end of a lake cul de sac so to speak. It is very quiet and made for some lovely mornings.

This is a property we have rented at least a dozen times over the past ten years under the previous owner. The new owners have significantly improved the property including a new dock, took down dead trees and added to the decor and amenities in the house. Highly recommended.

Skipper's Cove is a labor of love from two families who share a deep passion for the lake. We grew up on the water, raised our kids loving lake life, and always dreamed of having a place to call our own. Skipper's Cove made that dream a reality — and the name "Skipper" holds a special meaning for both of our families and generations past.
We know firsthand how rare it is to find a lakefront home that works for a large group — enough beds, enough space, a real dock, and that quiet-cove feel where the kids can swim without worrying about boat traffic. That's exactly what drew us to this property, and what we've worked hard to preserve and improve.
For us, lake life isn't just about the action on the water — it's equally about those quiet moments at the end of the day when the light fades, the lake goes still, and everything feels a little more like black and white. That peaceful time between sunset and dark is something we never take for granted. We hope you find it too.
