Very simple and very smooth with contactless access. Tons of yard games, life jackets with a well kept and well serviced pontoon. You basically have to bring your own bag of a change of clothes and that’s it. The cabin has everything else you could possibly need! It’s easier to just hop on the pontoon from the dock to head to the restaurants vs actually driving your car.
The space was definitely big. It comfortably fit my family of 15 people. The lake was nice even though it was shallow. Philip was an awesome host. We had issues with the electrical but he had someone come out the next day to fix it which I really appreciated. We did have an issue with flys and mosquitos in the house when we first got there. It seems like someone left a window/door open but as the days went on the bugs were less. Overall, my family liked the space. Definitely a nice house.
I don't know how many times I just looked around this place and said you know when you go and you are looking at pictures it always seems so much better than real life. no, this place surpassed the pictures. this was an amazing place from start to finish our kids were blown away we were blown away. There was more than enough room for all of us we all spent felt very spoiled. I guess the only thing we could say they could be added was maybe larger pots and pans and since there's large groups being there but most of us brought the aluminum pants to bake our food items in anyhow so there was only once or twice we were like oh darn we wish we had this and they have aluminum fry pants so you do need to bring your own oil. We loved it so much we're going back next year .
This new lake house checked all the boxes! Spacious for a family gathering of 19 and plenty of sleeping options so even the grandkids didn't have to share a bed! Multiple bathrooms on each floor so no one had to wait in line! The 2 kitchens were equipped for quantity food cooking and we were thankful for it all. The shoreline was equipped for water fun! A pier with an inflatable obstacle course made for hours of jumping and splashing by all ages. Silent paddling into the sunrise on provided kayaks/life jackets was amazing. Evening chats on the top of the boat house around the fire pit was peaceful. All was clean and ready for us. Phillip answered every question usually within minutes. He must just be holding his phone! This place made our 50th anniversary celebration with our immediate family memorable. Thank you!
This gorgeous property was the perfect spot for our annual family vacation. The large inflatable water toys kept all the kids entertained for hours. The house itself is beautiful and imaculate with plenty of room for large groups. The only downfall was the water was too shallow to navigate the pontoon to the open water of Castle Rock Lake. Otherwise, everything else met or exceeded our expectations.
