Spend your holiday on Borkum in a wonderfully idyllic setting! The “Sleeboom” islander’s house, built in 1911 and modernised in 1995, is located in the heart of the traffic-calmed zone on Süderstraße—a charming, historic island street.

The Sleeboom family is one of the oldest families on Borkum; it can look back on a history spanning over 400 years. Holidaymakers have always been a part of our family’s life—and we’re already looking forward to welcoming you as our guest!

The “Sleeboom” house on Borkum is in a great location! You’re just 10 minutes from the South Beach, 15 minutes from the North Beach, and Borkum’s town centre is just a few metres’ walk away. There’s a bakery right around the corner for fresh breakfast rolls, as well as a supermarket.

The constant gentle breeze, the scent of the sea, the sand beneath your feet—all of this makes your body and soul feel wonderfully at ease and clears your mind of stress and everyday worries.

Wilhelm Busch already knew this; he spent his holidays on Borkum from 1876 to 1879 and left posterity this beautiful poem from that time:

As long as the heart and eyes are open,

to take delight in the beauty around us,

as long as that is the case, we may joyfully hope,

that the world will continue to exist.

You can make yourself right at home in the living room! In addition to a dining area, there is a sofa corner with a 42-inch LCD TV and a satellite receiver. If the “regular” TV programming isn’t enough for you, a DVD player and a radio are also available. Starting now, you can also enjoy free Wi-Fi (speed: 50,000 Mbit/s) in the Borkum holiday rental!

The modern sleeper sofa and the recliner invite you to relax. The furnishings are rounded out by a sideboard where you’ll find everyday essentials, but which also offers space for your own belongings.

One of the two separate bedrooms in the Borkum holiday rental is furnished with a spacious double bed (2 m x 2 m); it also features two nightstands, a chest of drawers, and a built-in closet. The second bedroom features two single beds, a small nightstand, a built-in closet, and a cot.

The bathroom is equipped with a sink, toilet, shower, and a large mirror. You’re welcome to use our washing machine for your laundry.
