Atemberaubender Ausblick über Berge und Mittelmeer

Kreta hat uns überrascht. Berge ja, aber mit einer alpenähnlichen Landschaft hatten wir nicht wirklich gerechnet. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in einem typischen weißen Bergdorf, frei von Autoverkehr. Bis zu den Stränden mit verschiedenen Tavernen sind es ca. 8-12 min mit dem Auto. Auto ist unabdingbar!!! Mieten Sie keinen Kleinwagen mit Spielzeugmotor (Peugeot 106, Aigo, Lupo o.ä.) unter 80PS. Sie müssen sich Straßen im Gebierge (oft nur 1,5-spurig ohne Leitplanken) zutrauen. Steigungen bis 16% Die beiden Dorfkneipen am Dorfplatz sind Treffpunkt aller und jeden Abend; ein paar Worte Griechisch sind wohlgehört; Englisch reicht zum Überleben. Planen Sie immer das doppelte an Zeit ein, wenn Sie irgendwo ein Highlight besuchen wollen. Die Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit liegt (außerhalb der Autobahnen bei unter 40km/h. Kerames ist von den intl. Flughäfen am besten über die Autobahn am nördl. Meer bis nach Rethymnou dort die Abfahrt Spili in Richtung Süden nehmen und auf der gerade letzte Woche (21.08.23) freiggebenen Staatsstrasse in Richtung Spili. Vor bzw. nach Spili gibt es denn eine Gebirgsstraße in Richtung Kerames. Fahrzeit ca. 1h40. Das Haus der Fam. Weber (im Dorf einfach nach Robert fragen) ist auf zwei Ebenen verteilt, die ebenerdig Schlafraum und Bad/WC sowie einen schattiger Patio (große Palme und Bougainvilleadach)umfassen und über die ebenfalls außen gelegene Treppe zum Wohnzimmer sowie der praktisch eingerichteten Küche und dem Balkon mit Mittelmehrblick führt
