A couples’ getaway at Steinhuder Meer? Family time with biking and hiking? Or a little getaway with friends?
Anything is possible here! Centrally located near Steinhude (Großenheidorn), within walking distance of Netto, a bakery, and a great Greek restaurant, this newly furnished holiday rental awaits you on the ground floor of a semi-detached house (the upper apartment is rented out).
You’ll have access to a garage and one parking space right in front of the house. The street is a quiet side street; children can play in front of the house without any worries.
The apartment is about 70 square metres and features 1 bedroom with a lighted closet, 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated floors, and a large living room with an open kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped. There is a dining table with chairs (expandable to seat up to 8 people), a smart TV, a sofa, and access to the patio. The patio is secluded and fully fenced.
Here, you can wind down the evening in the summer with a glass of wine or play a few games (a few are available in the living room). There are also some books and games for children.
In the basement, there is a washing machine and a dryer available for guests’ use.
For small children, there is a high chair, a travel cot, and children’s cutlery and plates.
Pets are also welcome; a food and water bowl are provided, as well as a dog bed (for small and medium-sized dogs).
The Steinhuder Meer is 2.2 km away, the popular swimming island with a sandy beach is 3.5 km away, as is the centre of Steinhude.
Wunstorf, with plenty of shopping options and “the most beautiful pedestrian zone,” is 4.8 km/10 min. away by car; Neustadt am Rübenberge is 8 km/13 min. away. From Wunstorf and Neustadt, there are good train connections to Hanover, which is 30 km away. From Wunstorf, you can reach Hannover’s main train station in 15 minutes.
If you have any special requests—such as specific arrival or departure times, ergonomic pillows, etc.—please let me know. Likewise, if you have any specific questions about the area or things to do—I’d be happy to help you plan. There are also a few flyers and event calendars for the region in the apartment.
