The house is clean and spacious with an excellent location. Quiet neighborhood! We were close to shops and the museum. Personal welcoming touches from the host made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay there again.

Fran was a great hostess and very communicative. The house was perfect for our family to stay in while in town for a wedding, and the location was great for us to check out the cute downtown area as well. I would definitely recommend and would stay again if we were ever in the area!

We totally enjoyed our visit to this area and this location was very convenient. Our host, Fran, made our arrival very special by providing fresh flowers, fresh peaches from a local orchard and fresh zucchini bread, and there was plenty of ice which was very much appreciated with the heat. The home was clean and nicely decorated. Extra blankets were in the closets. We all agreed the air conditioning unit was extremely quiet. The kitchen had a wide selection of dishes, cooking pans, and utensils. Fran even offered to bring other pans if we wanted to bake. It was easy to connect to the WiFi. We did not use the TV. There were ample power outlets and lamps.Fran also provided ideas of places to visit beyond the local quilting businesses. Don't overlook visiting the Missouri Quilt Museum while in town. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it was filled with amazing traditional & modern creations and a large collection of textile machines and sewing related toys.

This property is wonderful! So clean, nice bedrooms and baths, a patio out back plus two chairs at the front of the house to sit outside and watch the cars go by. (There were only two of us, so we each had a bedroom. I don't know how it would be if 4 people tried to stay with the two other beds in the front room. But I imagine it would be fine.) We were there to stay during a quilt retreat. It was nice to get away from the rest of the quilters and have private conversations and wine in the evenings. The host is awesome too! She stopped by to introduce herself and ask if we had any questions. It was reassuring to know she was nearby if we needed anything at the house. I had a few questions, and she answered via text quickly every time. Location to the Missouri Star Quilt Retreat building is about 4 blocks I would say. Very walkable if you are tired from sitting and quilting all day. Close enough to walk to the Italian restaurant too. We enjoyed our stay very much and will return if we come back to a quilt retreat again! Thanks for a GREAT stay!
