Ski Holiday in the Zillertal Arena: Welcome to the Zillertal Arena, the largest contiguous ski area in the Zillertal. Königsleiten is located at an altitude of 1,600 metres and is therefore known for its reliable snow conditions well into the spring months. The Zillertal Arena impresses with its impressive statistics, such as 166 kilometres of slopes—including 10 km of black runs, 114 km of red runs, and 42 km of blue runs—as well as 51 state-of-the-art lifts with a total capacity of 78,495 people per hour. Should snowfall ever be less than abundant, 174 hectares of snow-covered slopes guarantee skiing fun on the slopes no matter what. For refreshments along the way, 34 mountain huts and snow bars are spread throughout the ski area—here, too, every wish is catered to. For snowboarders, the halfpipe and fun park are groomed and ready for use throughout the entire winter season.

Whether you’re into alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, sledding, or simply want to enjoy the magnificent winter landscape of the Hohe Tauern National Park, Königsleiten is definitely the right destination for your winter holiday.
Summer Holiday in the Zillertal: In summer, the Krimml Waterfalls are a must-see for the whole family. The spectacular waterfalls, with an impressive drop of 380 metres, and their kilometers-long hiking trails featuring numerous viewpoints are sure to delight you. The Durlaßboden Reservoir, with its refreshing 21°C water, is just 4 km from Königsleiten and is perfect for pedal boating and surfing. This reservoir can also be reached directly from Königsleiten via a beautiful, unspoiled hiking trail—no car needed. In addition, you’ll find a newly built outdoor and indoor swimming pool in Wald: the Kristallbad Wald. Here, you’ll find a giant slide, a sauna area, a fitness centre, and several pools for swimming and having fun. Of course, active sports enthusiasts won’t get bored in Königsleiten either.
