The Space:

The Crab House is a beautiful, well designed home in the quaint neighborhood of Magnolia Cottages by the Sea.  The neighborhood is just a short bike ride to Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach and The Big Chill.  This charming beach home is conveniently located next to the resort style heated pool and offers 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms (3 Kings, 2 twin over queen bunks, and bunks in hallway).  There is a large screened porch, perfect for morning coffee, an afternoon book or evening cocktail.   The fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and professional ice maker provides everything needed for meals at home. A gas grill is also provided.



Once you are ready to explore, you can walk, bike or run along the 18 mile Timpoochee Trail, which provides easy access to all that 30A has to offer. You are certain to enjoy your stay at The Crab House along Florida's 30A corridor!

Getting Around:

Watersound is a great home base for exploring the eastern 30A corridor, and many guests love using bikes to get around—especially for scenic rides along the Timpoochee Trail (30A’s bike path). A vehicle is still recommended for grocery runs, beach hopping, and day trips across South Walton, but you can comfortably plan plenty of “leave the car parked” days here.



Traveling to/around the area - Explore by foot, by bike, or by car:

• A car is recommended for exploring beyond the immediate 30A corridor, as rideshares and taxis can be limited and wait times can vary.

• Biking is one of the best ways to experience 30A—use the Timpoochee Trail for scenic rides to Seacrest, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and beyond.

• Walking works well for short trips and beach access days, but plan to drive for larger grocery runs and farther excursions.

• Bike rentals are widely available along 30A if you want extra bikes for your group—helmets are recommended, and the paths can get busy during peak season.
