Room w/King and Twin bed. Quiet,private,beautiful clean.Perfect for fishermen

We have very clean, comfortable rooms available. One with a king and a twin bed. The other room has a queen and a twin. reserve them together or separately. Each has its own bathroom, mini fridge and microwave. Coffee set-up with all the fixins. Split unit for a/c and heating, with remote. Flat screen TV with Direct tv and wireless internet. French doors open out onto a deck, overlooking the marsh and the Gulf. The rooms have a private entrance and stairway. Downstairs a fish cleaning table with many sitting areas, picnic table and a gas grill. All shaded, on concrete, under the house. Plenty of room for parking boats on our 2 acres.We are only 2 miles from the public boat ramp, 2.5 miles from a sandy beach and a pier at Keaton Beach. Also, Steinhatchee, a unique river community, 20 minutes away, with great seafood restaurants, cafes, food trucks, grocery stores, with many things to see and do. They have boat rental at the, Sea Hag Marina, which has a brand new restaurant and clothing shop, a definite place to visit.
We have a new Dollar General within five miles. A good restaurant and bar, Nowhere Grill, is the name, with live music and great seafood. Another bar and grill, The Bird Rack, is within 5 miles. Beach Bums, a corner store, that has a food truck and is a convenience store, 2 miles away. Walter B's, (Krazy Keaton, the new name), another convenience store, serves freshly cooked food all day and most of the night. anything you could possibly need is within 5 miles of us.
Another town, Perry, has Walmart, other grocery stores, many restaurants and fast food, is 30 minutes away. There, the famous, Johnson's Bakery, serves the best donuts around and home cooked hamburgers. Many other shops to visit and places to eat in Perry.

We are are a small fishing and boating community, with very little crime or incidents that you would have to worry about.

Also, there is a biking, walking, golf carting, paved trail fome Dark Island to the public boat ramp, about 3 miles long. It is kept manicured and very accessible to anyone. It's in walking distance from us.

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, laid back stay, this is the place. Plenty of fishing and scalloping going on. We will try to fill your every need, while you stay with us and I know you will have an awesome time.
