Whenever your soul—much like in the storey of *Moby Dick*—is in the grip of a wet and drizzly November, it’s high time to take a little break and recharge your batteries.
A unique oasis for recharging and relaxing, far away from the stress and noise of everyday life, awaits you!
A WARM WELCOME... MOBY awaits you!

Our little paradise is nestled in the heart of nature, high above the rooftops of the small, quiet village of Casal das Barrocas, Santa Bárbara, just a five-minute drive from the town of Lourinhã and a 10-minute drive to the nearest sandy beach, Areia Branca. The windmill was completely renovated in 2021 and furnished with great attention to detail.

The mill has three floors:
A bathroom on the ground floor, a living room with a sofa bed (140x200 cm) on the ground floor, and a bedroom with a double bed (140x200 cm) on the second floor.
In addition to the windmill, an annex is available for your use. Here you’ll find another living area with a TV, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. Please note that neither the windmill nor the annex has heating.

This little oasis is nestled on a 500m² property featuring a garden and various fruit trees. It’s completely secluded from view on all sides, allowing you to enjoy a holiday in complete peace and privacy.
Two free parking spaces are also available on the property. The accommodation sleeps 2–4 people, making it ideal for a couple or a small family. Dogs are also very welcome here!

Lovely stay! Kids were enthralled that we got to stay at a WINDMILL and Moby was SO cute and nicely decorated. The topmost floor was our favorite! A bit in the middle of nowhere, but we expected this. Very lovely garden with fruit trees as well. The mini market down the street was easy to walk to and had a much bigger selection than we expected. Neighbors’s dogs barked a lot at night but this is of course not within the hosts’ control. Overall, this was a lot of fun for our family!

Ein Schatz an der Silberküste

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Mühle. Sie ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und man kann vom Trubel der Stadt entspannen. Kommen gern wieder.
