Lovely space. Great loungers, perfect poolside setup for tanning. Great layout in the house, especially for two couples. Pretty neighborhood. Hope to return! If you plan to spend time on the island, keep in mind that crossing the bridge can take 10 to 40 minutes, depending on timing.

Perfection!

This house is everything and more. Lots of space, cleanliness, comfortable beds. TVs are huge! Kitchen has numerous crock pots, 3 cookie sheets, Blackstone and a Regular gas grill. The pool is beautiful, as is the view of the canal. Neighborhood is perfect for walking! We walked every morning. I cannot say enough great things about this home. Rent this one..you will not be disappointed!

Outstanding property in a quiet neighborhood

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sapphire Sea Star. The house and property are exactly as in the pictures, the house is tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Probably one of the most comfortable beds we've had at a property. The neighbor hood is pretty quiet and just far enough away from the overly crowded Anna Maria Island but still easy to get to if you want to spend a day or two walking around or going to the beach. Pool heat was the only issue we had as it was unseasonably cool while we were there and even though paying for pool heat, it never got warm enough to use. Also, communication is not with the actual property owner but Vacasa, a property management company who seems to be overloaded, which proved to be difficult as they don't have a number to call, nor do they have real time chat, we didn't get a reply to our one issue until after we had returned home so be aware of that. Other than that. we would happily stay at this property again and again.

My family of 4 stayed here for a long weekend for Labor Day. We brought our center console boat as well. The location was perfect. The house was amazing and perfect for us. We wished our stay was longer! We didn't want to leave! Boaters I wouldn't recommend any larger than 23 ft. Ours did fit in the dock space but not with much to spare. The canal is plenty deep and the exit of the canal to the intercostal is easily navigable with common boat knowledge and a decent chart plotter.
