Perched high on a ridge, this chalet-style cabin looks out over mountain lakes and the Rocky Mountains beyond. Inside, there are two bedrooms and an open-plan living area with cathedral ceilings and massive 20' floor-to-ceiling windows with gorgeous views. Curl up by the wood-burning fireplace on cool mountain evenings, or stargaze on the deck with a glass of wine. In the morning, treat yourself to a Keurig coffee (or a full pot of regular or decaf coffee, both are provided). Both bedrooms are large and include comfortable King beds with new mattresses. All TVs offer a paid subscription to YouTubeTV, with many top-notch channels to choose from, including live sports & national networks. Rustic cabin meets modern comfort! See, you CAN have your cake and eat it too :)
Outside, the property sits on 2.5 acres of lush forests of pine and aspen, and sports two decks with gorgeous views. There are tables and chairs on both decks for outdoor dining, a propane BBQ, a fire table of sparkling glass, a huge hot tub, and comfortable patio furniture.

The property feels completely secluded — just you, the forest, and the mountains. And yet, you're only a couple of miles from highway 285 with access to Red Rocks concerts, Breckenridge skiing, and the Denver metro area.

About the host
Hosted by Tim Schroeder
We're Colorado locals who have been hosting guests at mountain cabins since 2018. This one is our newest addition and by far our favorite. If something comes up, call us directly and we'll stop by — no call centers, no runaround, just real people who want your stay to be exceptional.
Why they chose this property
Most mountain cabins make you choose between seclusion and convenience. This one doesn't. You're tucked into 2.5 acres of private pine and aspen forest with sweeping lake and Rocky Mountain views — yet Red Rocks is only 30 minutes away, Denver is an hour, and Breckenridge is 80 minutes.
The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows are genuinely spectacular. The hot tub is huge. The decks are made for lingering. And unlike a lot of "rustic" cabins, you'll have fast satellite internet, YouTubeTV with live sports, and a wood-burning fireplace that actually gets used.
We're hands-on local hosts who'll pick up the phone if you need us. This is our favorite property — and we think it'll become yours too.
What makes this property unique
What sets this property apart is the combination of truly private ridge-top setting with easy access to some of Colorado's best destinations. Most secluded cabins mean a long, rough drive — here, good roads connect you to Red Rocks, Breckenridge, and Denver in under an hour. Add floor-to-ceiling Rocky Mountain views, a huge hot tub, and hands-on local hosts who actually pick up the phone, and it's hard to find a comparable alternative at this price point.
