Welcome to our holiday home, Haffhus, in Dargen on the island of Usedom. Our holiday home has approximately 86 m² of living space, is equipped to accommodate up to 4 people, and features a bedroom with a double bed, a sleeping area in the living room, a living room, a well-equipped separate kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Amenities also include two parking spaces, a terrace next to the house with a beach chair and seating, as well as a covered terrace. Welcome to our holiday home “Haffhus” in Prätenow, in the idyllic Achterland region on the island of Usedom. With approximately 86 m² of living space, the house can accommodate up to four people—children are also welcome. It features a bedroom with a double bed, a guest room with a pull-out double sofa bed, a living room with a sofa and armchair, a well-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Amenities include a terrace with a beach chair and seating, as well as a covered porch on the east side of the house. The property is fully fenced and lockable. Two parking spaces are located right next to the house, and a barbecue area is also available for your use. There is no covered storage area for bicycles, but they can be stored under a tarp for protection. Please note that there is neither a cot nor a high chair available for small children; you’ll need to bring your own if needed. The holiday home is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay: cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, a hair dryer, dishes and pots, a coffee maker, a kettle, an egg cooker, toaster, microwave, an electric stove with a ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, TV, DAB radio, and Wi-Fi are all at your disposal. Please bring your own bed linens and towels, or alternatively, you can book a linen package in advance. Upon request, we also offer sightseeing tours in a vintage tractor with a horse-drawn caravan through the beautiful Achterland region, through forests, past lakes, and all the way to the lagoon. That’s nature at its finest. You can also participate in a demonstration of traditional smoking followed by a sale. Fresh eggs are also available on the property. The holiday home is located in Dargen (Prätenow), a quiet and tranquil village in an idyllic setting, surrounded by water, forests, and meadows, right on the lagoon. A swimming spot is approximately 1,200 metres from the holiday home. You can explore all directions by bike, take walks in the woods, and pick blueberries or mushrooms in the fall. The village has a chic café with a garden and homemade cakes. You should also definitely visit the Scheunencafé in Kachlin—they have fantastic homemade cakes. Here in Prätenow, you’ll also find the bison enclosure and wildlife park. Dargen is about 1.2 km away; there you’ll find a GDR museum with a snack bar, as well as coffee and cake (homemade), and the highly recommended restaurant “Tonne Eickboom.” In Stolpe, there’s also a private, family-run bakery. There are plenty of shopping options in the town of Usedom, in the three imperial spas, and in Swinemünde—all about 12 km away. Nearby are other attractions, such as Mellenthin Water Castle, a fishing pond in Pudagla, the “Fischpalast” in Neppermin, and a swimming lake with pedal boat rentals and a snack bar in Korswandt.
