Nature is reflected in the outdoor pool, which is at your disposal. The warming rays of the sun and the birdsong will quickly lure you outside onto the covered terrace with a delicious cup of coffee. This is the perfect spot to settle in with a good book.<br>Or you can simply let yourself drift and let your thoughts wander with the clouds. Here in our fairy-tale region, you can leave all the stress of everyday life behind.<br>Discover the region for hiking and dining, for leisurely walks, bike rides, or even a dip in the pool.<br>If you’re lucky, you might spot the mysterious white deer of the Reinhardswald, which sometimes venture right up to the edge of the forest near your holiday home.<br>Stories come to life on the Märchenlandweg (Fairy Tale Trail), where you’ll encounter Rapunzel or the Wolf and His Seven Little Goats.<br>At the foot of Sababurg Castle, home to Sleeping Beauty, lies Germany’s oldest zoo, which has been preserved in its original setting. Native and rare animals live here in species-appropriate conditions among ancient oak trees and tree-lined avenues. Watch the young ones. You can even see moose here.<br>1,000-year-old oaks in a primeval forest—unique in Central Europe—transport you to a mysterious world. Set out on a bike ride stretching for kilometres along the Weser River, or explore the river by boat.<br>If you’re looking for a bit of hustle and bustle, the beautiful half-timbered town of Hann.
