Take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and find peace and quiet in this bright vacation home, which is located on a quiet gravel road in cozy Stora Rör. Look forward to game afternoons and movie nights on the sofa with a view of the pool and Kalmarstra?e as well as cozy get-togethers with a barbecue on the pool terrace. The awning provides shade on hot days. The shared, heated outdoor pool will delight young and old alike. In the morning or late in the evening, you can jump into the pool whenever you want during the summer months.

Between Borgholm and Färjestaden you will find the charming village of Stora Rör, idyllically situated directly on the Kalmar Road. The village's harbor has a long history as a ferry port, as the strait between the island and the mainland is narrowest here. Today, however, the small harbor only serves as a marina and fishing port. Because Öland is so flat, it is considered the perfect island for cycling. The island is so narrow that you can cycle to the sea from anywhere on the island. So it's best to bring your bikes with you! The fertile valley of Mörbylånga is particularly inviting for beautiful walks and bike rides. The limestone plain, Stora Alvaret, offers you unique nature, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can also visit the windmills at Lerkaka and the castle ruins at Gråborg and Lenstad Borg, as well as the spooky castle ruins at Borgholm. If you want to experience more, simply cross the six-kilometer bridge to Kalmar or take the bicycle and passenger ferry, Dessi.
