Das Haus ist sehr schön direkt am Wasser gelegen und beim Frühstück oder Abendessen auf der Holzterrasse sitzt man dann natürlich auch direkt am Wasser. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und modern, alles war sehr sauber. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. In Uitgeest gibt es alles für den täglichen Gebrauch. Amsterdam, Haarlem und Alkmaar sind schnell erreichbar. In Uitgeest am Bahnhof gibt es einen kostenlosen Parkplatz (bei den Sportplätzen), man kann dann zum Beispiel mit dem Zug nach Amsterdam fahren. Leider hat während unseres Aufenthalts der Wind gedreht und die Flugzeuge sind im Landeanflug über uns angeflogen. Nachts war aber Ruhe und tagsüber waren wir unterwegs. Die Routen wächseln aber mehrmals täglich und wenn keine Flugzeuge anflogen, war es auch sehr rruhig.
