About this property

Comfy, retro home close to Floyd

Enjoy the privacy and take in the gorgeous views at Bud‘s Place. Just 10 minutes from Floyd and 45 minutes from Blacksburg or Roanoke, this two bedroom home with one and a half baths is a great place to unwind.
All on one level, the master bedroom has a four poster king size bed with a half bath attached and a second bedroom has two twin beds. The full bath has an accessible shower.
There is a well stocked kitchen, dining room, and a living room with a comfortable couch, books, and board games.
You can sit on the front deck and look out over a meadow with beautiful trees, frequented by families of deer. There is often a horse in the adjacent pasture (when the horse is there, we will be there twice daily to care for him.)
We welcome well-behaved pets and children.
Your hosts are next-door and available if any issues arise.

Had a wonderful stay. It is such a peaceful and serene property and there were lots of deer visitors. It was lovely to sit out on the porch and just soak in the quiet. The house was clean and tidy. It is definitely a retro home as described so the necessities are basic and straightforward; nothing super fancy or tech-y which honestly, was great and gave us the chance to unplug. It does have WiFi but we didn’t even bother with the tv. Anna was very kind, a great host, and communicated well. We’d happily stay there again!
